Okay, look...this thing is a nice looking item, and actually well made, but the instructions are LITERALLY WRONG AT THE LAST STEP. I'm not an idiot and I put together many things but I had to disassemble parts of it that were pre-put together to make it work. Somebody less handy would have trouble. Still, nice item. I ordered this podium to use at the grand opening of a housing project that I’ve been working on, and when it showed up I noticed that it is black and not reddish brown, and the platform where I would put my notes is up at the level of my armpit and I’m 5 foot four. I would definitely need to wear heels or stand on a separate platform to use this. It might work for people who are taller than me, but I think I’m going to repurpose it into a display case.. Mags. We were looking for a podium that was easily movable, had enough surface area for a laptop and a Bible, adjustable height and a place for water. This had just that, plus a shelf that could hold our microphones and a cord access to the top of the podium. It was easy to put together. I added photos and deleted faces and content on the screens- so parts of the photos will look weird. Photo 1- the man is about 6'2, Photo 2- the man is about 5'10, and Photo 3- The man is about 6'4- I don't think we adjusted the height of the podium for each speaker, but you can see what it looks like..
