Almost perfect Great desk. Directions were also easy to follow, although one of the screw call-outs was incorrect (B versus E). Our daughter seems to be glued to it since Christmas Day. 2 small things one of of the backer boards needs to be installed with slightly longer screwes. Because they have provided a good sturdy backer board, the screws were a bit too short so I used some 12 screws I had on hand and that worked much better. Second hiccup chair assembly. The two cross-bars for the chair are supposed to be slip-fit with 2 dowel pins on each side, however, on of the vertical supports was mis-drilled for the the required spacing of the dowel pins. Thankfully, the other was properly drilled, so I removed one of the dowels from the incorrectly drilled side and all went together as required. A dab of wood glue keeps it all in check and I dont expect to have any issues until my kids are too big for this desk. Beautiful, sturdy, and will be well loved in no time, Im sure! |

Nightmare! Product Review I purchased this desk to fit perfectly into my a dormer window space in my 7 yr. old daughter's bedroom. The pink and white were perfect as was the size and storage.I've had the desk for 4 weeks and still can't it assemble it. Two desktops came with touch-up painted spots in the center of the desktop and scratches[...]l. The holes on the 3rd replacement desktop were drilled in the wrong place. The cam washers that secure the desk bend when locking them because the cam nuts are either too short, or don't properly line-up.Bottom line, I've wasted a lot of time trying to assemble this desk because the parts were not properly constructed, holes not drilled properly, cam nuts bend, and it doesn't align. And I'm usually pretty good at assembling these types of products.Cute desk, but I'm not sure if I'll ever get it put together. I may ask Guidecraft to send me one assembled at this point. Or I'll have to return it. Service Review Delivery was fine. Customer service was helpful, but product quality still poor. |

Great Child's Desk! My 6 yr old daughter just loves her new desk! She has plenty of room to work at it and enough drawers and nooks to put all her stuff. I had a hard time looking for a small enough desk to fit in her room yet not be too small that she'll outgrow it quickly. I think this desk is large enough to last her for a few years. It's been very sturdy so far, and there's been no problems with chipping paint (which I was a bit worried about). This was a great buy! |

not worth the money I have never been so dissatisfied with a product i have ordered for my child. This desk is a complete disaster. Let me describe the problems in the order that I discovered them. 1)My desk chair had been partially assembled when it arrived. Like someone else had purchased it, noticed how poor the craftsmanship was, and sent it back, then you in turn mailed it to me. 2) The assembley instruction page was a joke. 3) That page read "refer to website for additional assembly instructions" do you see assembly instructions on this page...I dont. 4)The predrilled holes do not line up with where the screws are suppose to be placed. I had to drill my own holes to get the chair assembled. 5) Upon completion, there are 1/4 inch gaps and spaces between the wood because it was not cut to correct lenghts. I will never order from this company again, and do everything I can to make sure no one I know does either. |

Nice personal desk for little girls room I got this for my daughter for her birthday. She loves it and is able to do her homework away from her siblings. She loves to create things and this way she has everything she needs in her own desk. She loves the pink handles and it matches her room perfectly. White is hard to keep clean. I'm sure we'll be doing touch-ups each year. |
