Best stroller around
Melissa from Lyndhurst, OH – Verified Buyer
researched strollers in depth for my two small dogs of 7 lbs each. I really wanted the best, most quality stroller money could buy. Purpose was to take them along on the occasional shopping trip and also the occasional joghike. I also bought the Utopian Pet Three Wheel Pet Stroller (UP) for a super deal of $259. Both strollers are awesome. For me and my dogs, though, the Guardian Gear Sprinter EXT III (GG) wins, and I am donating to a senior puppy mill survivor dog the other, more expensive Utopian. Here's the reasons: First. although the wheel measurements are similar, the UP takes up much more space generally. The UP has a bigger carriage, but it's not really wider. I was looking for the smallest thing I can comfortably get away with since my dogs are small, my car is small, my house is small - heck, I'm small. Second, I'm a single dog mom, so I don't have someone to help me maneuver things. The GG is easier to open and close, it has a cup holder, and the bottom basket sits higher off the ground (thinking mud, dirt, leaves, etc). The UP was difficult to close and harder to get in my car. Also, The UP has a locking front wheel that is a nice feature, but it just wasnt for me. It seems like a bit of a design flaw because it locks a little too easily and I had to keep bending over to pull the lever back out and unlock it. The GG will turn in circles like a spinning suitcase, and I really liked this. The UP does this too, but once you go straight, it will lock back in straight mode. Wheels on both are awesome, both were easy to put together with no tools required and I didn't look at the directions, either. The only cons to the GG are the zippers. They are not exactly easy or fast, but I don't how GG would improve this really, so I forgive them. The UP uses very strong velcro instead of zippers, and although I like that its much easier and faster, I certainly would not trust a stronger dog the UP unattended. But really, when are you leaving your dog unattended in a stroller, so this is really a moot con for the UP. The one thing that was super cool about the UP was that the carriage actually came off the base and could be carried around and used like a bassinet or car seat - very cool and I was temporarily swayed by this feature. Still, for my purposes, I just really like the ease and size and maneuverability of the GG. Don't get me wrong, neither strollers are perfect, and I could prob design better, but both strollers are the best out there that I have found. I'm happy with both, but chose the GG to keep. Hope this helps everyone!

Received it and within twenty minutes, with my non functioning hands + time out for arranging of softy pillows into it, was strolling the neighborhood with my 15 year old bichon happily inside. She is blind but very healthy but was attacked by another dog so we have had to carry her till now. Well made & easy to assemble product. Love the high grade tires (which was the deciding factor for purchasing) and how it is made with built in reflector strips and safety straps inside.. Love the product and the great customer service. Shopped around and got the best price here as well. I am one happy customer.

OK so far

Arrived on time, top of carton disintegrated, stroller completely exposed. Plastic bag was on bottom of stroller instead of encasing it for protection. UPS driver just shook his head--said supplier didn't use any packing materials. Front wheel axle had been assembled incorrectly, hubby had to rebuild & use better bearings. Other than that stroller looks good. Haven't taken it outside yet. Am concerned zippers may not hold up very long since they have to be unzipped to put dog in and have a lot of tension on them. Very nice tires. Overall I'm pleased with the looks. I didn't return immediately because of the good price, good overall ratings, and it's hard to find such good tires. I would have returned if I didn't have a mechanically gifted husband.

Great all terrain but some parts are flimsy
Joyce from Honolulu, HI – Verified Buyer
Definitely an all terrain stroller, turns on a dime, and great on roads and pavement, The tires do require air occasionally, just bought a $10 pump and it works fine. Due to the air filled tire, the ride is smooth and cushiony. The bad - The pet compartment base is just a piece of ply-board covered over by the canvas material. Would have liked to see something more solid like plexiglass for this price. The mesh panels appear flimsy, my pooch already is scratching on it and I'm afraid it will tear. Rain is an issue though. The stroller should come with an optional rain guard. So I'm going to take the good with the bad the stroller carriage frame is solid and undoubtedly my pooch has a comfortable ride. The compartment on the bottom is great for storing umbrella, doggie bag, jacket for me. Overall happy and use the stroller a lot!

This stroller is top quality. It moves freely on any surface and the bed is quite Rooney. We added a small cushion for extra comfort! Way fair products are always superior!

Great quality, our little Pekingese Courtney loves it and can now join us on our walks with her big brother Willy. A first class ride, great workmanship highly recommend
Some problems with this stroller
Lori Jill from Dallas, TX – Verified Buyer
It is a sturdy well made stroller. My dog is about 14 lbs and I have a hard time getting him in the back as the hole is very small. When I unzip the front the zipper comes unhinged so I have to work to get it back together and him all zipped in. The front wheel wobbles a lot making it hard to push and people often stop to let me know my stroller looks broken. You can lock it but then you have to do a wheelie with the cart if you veer off a straight line.
