This grill is silver and has 80 square inches of cooking surface. It does heat up quickly. Even though this grill is a bit smaller the the grill we had previously it is still big enough for our family of four. I can easily get 6 burgers on this grill and at least 4 large chicken breasts. I love how quickly the grill cooks food. We really enjoy grilling hamburgers. They do not lay in the grease as they do in a traditional frying pan. It has a floating hinge which means whether you have a thick or thin piece of meat the hinge is able to raise up or down to accommodate the thickness. Which ensures even cooking. One of my favorite things to make on the George is bacon. All of the fat drains into the drip tray and your bacon is not laying in grease. I like to cook up a pound at a time and then put it in the freezer for future meals and salads. This grill is also wonderful for making paninis! Now you might wonder about clean up. Our first George had very deep channels making it a bit difficult to clean. This newer version the channels are not as deep which makes clean up easier. The grill does come with two drip pans and a spatula to aid in clean up. The only feature I wish it did have was a variable temperature control. The grill only has one set temperature. This is our first ever grill and so far our experience has been positive. This uses electric heat and so can be used both indoors and outdoors. When the weather is fine, we grill outside and when it is too hot, we grill inside. The other cool feature is that the grill could be used either on the stand or the pedestal.Since it has a stand, it is a good space saver. The food grills well and addition of the dome, helps grilling even better. Another positive experience is that the cleanup is a breeze.We would recommend this to anybody."..."  Read more

The grill is super for hamburgers, hotdogs, pancakes, waffles and well anything you want to grill. Its easy to use, cleans easy and very handy."

This is my 3rd George Forman, I love the fact that you can put the grills in dishwasher, I cook all kinds of meat,onions, garlic bread etc. So far I don't have any complaints. I will buy another when I wear this one out!"..."  Read more
