Greenleaf Dollhouses Fairfield Dollhouse Kit

My granddaughter who is 8 years old, takes after her grandmother when it comes to crafts. She decided she wants to learn how to build a dollhouse so, she and grandma are doing her first one together. Not going to do the lighting in the first one but, stained flowers, Victorian style wallpaper, antique style furniture, ect. We are taking our time doing it so that we get it just the way she wants it and, learns a little history along the way.

Cute house. Horrid materials. Less than thrilled. 1/2" scale which I didn't know or I wouldn't have ordered it. The wood used for this house is inferior...splintered, stained and not on piece is the same color, some are smooth and some need major work. You get what you pay for...on good point is I didn't pay full price. I tossed it back in the box and put it in the closet.

Requires a little knowledge of how to put together a dollhouse kit. Very easy to construct, if you follow all directions and spend quite a bit of time on preparing the parts. Not all parts are ready fit, just an fyi. Great product overall, will buy another kit and build it for sure. Wayfair is one of the best companies for these kits I have found, they are super fast shippers, communications are great and best of all they have the best pricing i have found, even the auction sites do not offer better deals.

this is great for anyone who wants to start miniatures as a hobby! **you need to follow the instructions exactly! otherwise it becomes a big mess. don't take anything out of the box until it tells you to! beautiful house for miniatures once it is finished and painted!
