Greenhouses

My only complaint about this greenhouse is that it is very easy to misalign the pieces, even after extensively reviewing the DVD. Oh, the DVD about how to put it together was filmed very poorly, too--most of the time you're looking at the back of the guy's hand, instead of the part of the greenhouse that you need to see up close. Those things being said, I'm very happy with this greenhouse. It is super sturdy, and the optional anchors work great. I would recommend this without hesitation. The automatic vents work really well, although in warmer climes you'll probably want a fan (I'm in the rainy pacific northwest, and even with the vents the temps in it reach 90F sometimes). Four stars instead of five for the rather poor/conflicting documentation on how to assemble it. But I still put it together by myself, regardless. (Although it took 7 hours)."..."  Read more

This is the joke from my kids. Herb garden for Herb. Actually I was really excited to start to use this. We have had it set up for a few weeks now. We painted it to match our house and really looks good. The zippers are a nice addition but they could be a little more heavy duty. No problems though. Overall I would say 4/5. My design engineer husband set it up. I never could have. It took him about 12 hours. He had to work around some pieces that did not fit together perfectly. I went ahead and finished the wood and metal hinges with polyurethane. It is much sturdier than those I've seen with aluminum struts, and much more expensive. I expect that it won't come apart and require us to redo assembly. That is what I paid for. It is very attractive to look at. The automatic vent opener works great."..."  Read more

Attached to the back of the house and capable of protecting lots of plants during the winter cold. It was easy to assemble, fit together nicely, and is an attractive addition. I have received several positive comments from neighbors. It does need a venting as it gets quite hot inside even with the doors ajar."..."  Read more
