Greenhouse Potting

Researched a number of small, reasonably-priced potting benches to use in backyard. Most of the wooden ones needed assembly and probably treatment of wood to prevent rotting (except the most expensive ones) or were too flimsy-looking; the PVC and metal ones were expensive so I opted for this rolling plastic cart, was a little dubious about it's visual appeal, but it's been in my backyard for a months and I love it. I love that it has a grate on top and a bin beneath to catch dirt for potting. I love that it rolls! I didn't think I needed a rolling cart, but found that I use it ALOT all around the yard. Husband was using my cherry wood kitchen table for his potting bench til I found white markings in the wood! Bought him this 2-tier greenhouse to grow veggie seeds until spring. It's still in the kitchen but gets sunlight, the plants stay warm and it's not ruining my table. Sturdy yet lightweight so it can be moved for housecleaning. The quality of materials and solid construction of this relatively inexpensive little greenhouse pleasantly surprised me. It does support quite a bit of weight and is very roomy - just right for hobby gardeners like me. The frame screws together, making it very solid - it doesn't fall apart like my old mini greenhouse did. The plastic cover fits well and extends past the bottom of the frame, enough to tuck in and help keep cold winds out. There is an air vent flap for when/if it gets too hot inside and with the full-length zippers on each side, it's easy to water and care for the plants inside. Easy to assemble and light weight. I plan to move it so setting it on a board with wheels makes it easy to move. Potting tables with wheels were move than I wanted to spend and this looks like it will fit the bill.."..."  Read more
