It is very versatile as it can go with many different styles and dÃcor. The clock is the perfect height and I love that the pendulum swings back and forth. The over all color of the clock is a soft and soothing warm black with a hint of crackling throughout and light gold accent color on the trim. I had given it 4 stars instead of the 5 because it had cost a lot to ship-although his is rather large in size, it's still very lightweight and easy to move. Howard Miller is a good name to trust. Everything was packed properly. All items were complete as listed. The internal light located on the door on top of the front lower glass panel (to reduce the effect of the heat generated from the lamp on the mechanical section of the clock) does not reach the top part of the clock and the back of the moon phase should have been illuminated by a very small bulb to get its visual effect."..."Read more
