Great quality, poor customer service
Anne from New York, NY– Verified Buyer
After reading extensive reviews of crib safety in the Baby Bargains book and on various websites and product review sites, we opted to get the Graco Stanton Convertible Crib in Classic White. It was rated one of the safest, AND was a great value, which was an added bonus. The crib arrived within 2 days of placing our order on Wayfair. When my husband and I opened up the box to assemble the crib, we were disappointed to find that the back top rail was damaged in two places on the left and right sides, probably when the wood was pressed up again other pieces in the box during shipping. The wood was crusheddented in, with very rough splintered edges. Since this side would be the side facing the baby, we didn't want to take any chances, so we contacted Lajobi for a replacement part. We followed instructions to EMAIL them with the model , PO and production date and I also sent 3 pictures of the damage. I also then called the 1-888 customer service number, and it seems like they have ONE overworked person handling phone calls. It's been 3 days since I emailed and I just called them AGAIN. They said they lost my email, so they took my replacement part order via phone. I won't get a confirmation email or anything. They just verbally told me over the phone that I will probably get the part in a week, depending on warehouse processing and volume. I'm already 9 months pregnant and we are antsy to have the crib finally complete, but they don't seem to be very empathetic to the customers. (Being in a tight NYC apartment, we waited a little longer to assemble our crib because space is quite limited.)

I was a little disappointed because the product description was misleading it described the changing table under the description of this crib as though it would have been a set.

From then on, whatever category it entered, Graco set the standard: the firm's Pack N' Play Portable Playards, designed by Nate Saint, the son of the Swyngomatic's inventor, was introduced in 1987, and achieved the same kind of success as Graco's wind-up swings. The Pack N' Play is now found in millions of homes across North America. Graco raised the bar further when it introduced the Travel System, the first product that allowed you to quickly click a car seat into and out of a stroller, making life easier for mom and dad by allowing them to move a sleeping infant from house to automobile to stroller without waking the little one up.
Today, Graco continues its tradition of innovation, with products like the aluminum-framed Quattro Tour stroller and the Pack 'n Play SPORT which is the perfect choice for families who enjoy outdoor fun. In 1998, Graco proudly acquired Century Car Seats, combining two of the most respected brand names in baby products, and leading to innovative products like the TurboBooster youth booster car seat.
Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, the dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products that inspire parents and babies alike.
