My husband and I are over 65 and recently gutted and completely remodeled our master bathroom. We bought four Moen Kingsley oil rubbed bronze 24-inch inch and 12-inch grab bars. We used the 24-inch ones in our new shower to match the other hardware. We used the 12-inch grab bars for the outside of our new Jacuzzi tub. First of all, they look gorgeous. They don't look like grab bars, but look like fine bathroom hardware that could be used as towel bars, for example. They are easy to use and clean, and they blend in beautifully with the travertine and imported Italian marble that we used for the shower, flooring and tub surround. The 12-inch grab bars outside of the tub finish the entire tub area with elegant beauty and style that does not call attention to their intended use. Therefore, a very young future buyer will not be reminded that elderly people built and used the room, but that the room is decorated with very well designed bath hardware that could have many uses, included that for which it was originally intended. Many people seeing the room for the first time don't even realize what the grab bars are. They think they're towel bars or even just lovely decorations. I installed this grab bar next to the bench seat in a large master bathroom shower. The wavy pattern on the back side of the grab bar gives it a classy (non-hospital or care home) look that looks very nice in my bathroom. I bought this grab bar together with the 24" grab bar, which will be installed in a guest bathroom that sits between two bedrooms. I was very pleased to be able to access grab bars in the polished brass finish, as they are very hard to find. I also purchased in polished brass from Wayfair two robe hooks, a wall-mounted soap dish, a toilet paper holder, a glass shelf, a double towel bar, and two towel rings for the bath space, which is divided with one part for the sinks and the other part for the toilet and bathtub.
