Henk Stallinga

After completing his studies at the Rietveld Academy, Henk Stallinga set up his agency in Amsterdam in 1994 and started designing his own series of products. He also participated with a number of projects, including the Young Industrial Designers exhibition in the Stedelijk Museum (1994) and a 'Dutch Design in her Garden Café' exhibition in the Museum for Modern Art in New York (1995). Stallinga BV designed its extensive series of products on its own initiative, varying from furniture to lighting, from vases to handbags and will continue to do so alongside the customer designs. A major part of the Stallinga Collection can be found in museums right across the world. Henk Stallinga (1962, Tytsjerk --Tytsjerksteradiel) graduated as an industrial designer at Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 1993. Stallinga BV is located in Amsterdam.

Stallinga and Goods started building up their collections 15 years ago. Now these collections are all being joined together. A number of the characteristic designs by Henk Stallinga are included in the Goods collection. The Clojo, toilet paper holder is inspired by the dry cleaning clothing hanger
