i traded in a fanny pack for this purse i like all the pockets it doesnt fall off my lap when shopping in the electric chair. i would like it better if i could put it around my waist easier either by it clipping on or having a snap buckel

Does the job. Very versatile.

This handbag has great organization, lots of pockets, and a place for everything! It has a full-zippered pocket on the outside, which I will use for cash. There is a place for a passport inside as well as credit card slots. On the outside front, there is a zippered pocket --which my Blackberry fits in and a snapped pocket for other small items (your cell phone might fit in here). Overall a GREAT travel bag. [The straps do not detach, so wearing this as a belt bag wouldn't work]. Overall, I would recommend that you buy this bag!

The adjustable strap is a nuisance because I sometimes grab only one part of it, since I have it adjusted to the minimum length. To solve this problem, I sewed the two straps together so that they stay as one. Problem solved!

This bag can be worn over the shoulder or across the body. I don't see how you could use it as a waistpack --there are no belt loops and the strap doesn't detatch to wear around the waist. HOWEVER, it is a great bag with lots of compartments and a place for everything! It can be overstuffed and still look great. There are plenty of pockets so there is no need for a separate wallet. The fabric is nice and strong -- but not heavy. I think you will like it for a travel day purse or for errands....even that trip to the amusement park!

Just got it today and immediately transferred all my stuff to it - my old purse was about the same size extermally and stuffed to the max but the new purse holds everything with room to spare.
