Good Ideas Savannah 55 Gallon Rain Barrel
Nice looking, but side bulges when full

Looks very nice. Although it is sturdy, when filled with rain water the sides bulge and looks distorted. However, the rain barrel does go back to it's original shape when the water is drained.
Stylish and Functional

I think that the rain barrels look very nice. They serve a great purpose, but are also stylish. One comment to make is that if you would like to use the spout to fill a water can (as opposed to hooking up a hose), you will need to elevate your barrel as the spigot is not far from the ground. My only real negative here is the plastic bag the screws and such came in. We ordered two of these and both bags were ripped. A few screws and other items fell into the barrel, but some were missing. No big deal really, but just a heads up. Overall, we are very pleased with this product and would recommend it.
Just what I wanted

It goes great with the out door landscaping. Easy to set up with down spots.
Drain valve is a little hokey

We bought four of these but one was leaking so we called in and they set up a replacement. They work well for the most part. The little drain valve that you screw in is a little hokey but it's ok. We've actually had some rain and they collected it and filtered it out so they're working pretty well.
Good rain barrel.

The rain barrel is good and has worked out just fine. I think it was priced ok.
pretty good, a few problems with the one we got

Scratched up a bit (probably from shipping), and realized after the first rain that one of the bottom corners had not been properly sealed - water was leaking out pretty forcibly. At that point it was too late to send it back (already had planted a plant in the top and attached it to the house), but were able to caulk the seam. Otherwise, it's very attractive and sturdy.

This rain barrel seems like a good size. We build a stand for it so we could get a water can under the faucet. It was completely full after 15 minutes of medium to heavy rain. We have since ordered a diverter that can be switched from the rain barrel to the ground so it won't keep trying to add water to the barrel. This barrel does bulge when it's full. All the sides become convex. I assume long term this will cause the plastic to wear down, but so far it's held up well.

I would have given it 5 stars except it has 2 holes through the back of the overflow (on top) - perhaps to secure it to a wall The holes were not mentioned in the description tilting the container slightly forward would not allow this area to run off to the front of the container.

If you buy it, it will come! It actually rained right after we purchased this. Great quality rain barrel. No fuss and no leaks. Love the look and design. It's very attractive and something we don't mind having to look at on the back patio.

I like the look, but the 1st time i turned on the faucet, the entire thing pulled right out of the barrel! i lost most of my water. I thought when I installed it that it seemed pretty flimsy. Maybe the opening should be reinforced with a metal female opening.. not happy
