Worth the wait

This item was out of stock every time I went looking for it. I finally was able to order it and I have been very pleased with it. It came in two boxes in two different days, but when I finally got it all together I was impressed with the minimal assembly required and how everything fits together. The seal on the compost half is very good, the dog has not been able to get into it, nor have the racoons or other wildlife. I am looking forward to using the rain barrel water in my garden this spring!

Ordered this composter for hubby after he built a greenhouse. It was easy to assemble in less than 30 minutes.

Looks good. We haven't made much compost yet, but seems to work great. Easy to roll....even my 5 year old can roll it. Rain doesn't collect on top like others had said; maybe they need more of a sloped area??
Almost what I wanted

Several Major Pros: 1. The numerous small perforations in the top for draining compost tea to the base. 2. Relatively easy to spin the top on the base. 3. Spigot valve seems up to the task. 4. Plastic mesh seemed like its probably too small for mosquitos to get inside the main reservoir but large enough that water is not overflowing up the indentation where it rests (observed during moderate rainfall).

The composter is working out great. It is a good quality and I do feel that it was a good value as well. I do not have any complaints about it.

I liked the first one so much that I bought a second composter for when the first one gets full. When almost full, they are harder to turn and tumble the compost inside, but I have been very happy with how fast the scraps seem to break down. We don't have gutters installed yet for the rain barrel but it has been filling up on it's own from the summer rains! (a very pleasant surprise!)

The design is great but the execution isnt perfect, although pretty good. The whole thing is pretty easy to set up.
Mom loves it

Bought this for Mom for her birthday. She loves it and loves the idea of the Tea rain barrel. I cannot review based on how well the product works because we have not had it that long. BUT i can say that it was the best price i had come across, shipping was incredibly fast, seems like a quality product and there really wasn't much of any assembly required. What more could you ask for! Thank you Wayfair!
Does The Job

Came shipped in two separate boxes. Already assembled - no work to do. The compost lid fits snuggly - no critters will be able to get inside. Can't wait to see my garden this summer with all of this nutrient-rich compost I'm making. (Haven't used the rain barrel part yet, as it is freezing outdoors).
All as advertised

Good price, arrived in two different shipments about a week apart. Construction seems good. In researching the product ahead of time, complaint seemed to be: "I never got the second piece" (not a problem for me), or "I can't screw the hatch back on" (not a problem, if the threads didn't line up perfectly the first time, just reverse it a half turn, it will line itself back up). "the tumbler doesn't roll well" (also not an issue) or "there were no instructions included" (yes, there are instructions included). Now, in all fairness, it's October in northern Michigan so I can't give you an operational review yet but I can't imagine why there would be any problems as long as I follow directions and use the right green to brown ratio in my compost pile. Both the compost tumbler and 'rain barrel' portion are larger than I'd pictured in my head, so that's a plus. My guess is that I'll want to put the entire unit up on cinder blocks and a small wood-framed platform to get the water spigot up from ground level, but perhaps it will turn out I'm wrong about that. We'll see. I'm very pleased with the product at this point.
