Gold Sparrow Emily 7 Piece Dining Set
S. D. from North Las Vegas, NV– Verified Buyer
These chairs are stunning, although they are much darker as other reviewers have mentioned. I have both the Emily table and the chairs, and it is a solid, solid set. If you Google finish colors, the color of these chairs looks closest to "medium oak" or "red oak" in my opinion. Depending on the lighting it looks either medium chestnut brown, or in the light a mahogany like oak color with red hues. I am actually relieved that they aren't gold since I was unsure of that color.
Great chair at a great price
Robin from Whitefish Bay, WI– Verified Buyer
Chair is heavy, solid, and feels like very good quality, especially for the price. Also, the slight natural curves on both the back and seat are very comfortable. You WILL need a good power drill to put this together, and it helps to have an octagonal bit so that you don't have to rely on the enclosed allen wrench, which would be a big pain. With the right tools, they went together easily (about 15 minutes total per chair) and felt very solid after. Instructions are not great - remember that the regular washer goes on the bolt first and then the spring washer. Color is, as other reviewers have noted, redder and darker than the picture - more like cinnamon than golden oak. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase.
Cool dining room set!
Ursula from Atlanta, GA– Verified Buyer
Received delivery yesterday and dug right into it. Table is very heavy, looks sharp and is easy to assemble. The chairs look great with it and are quite comfortable. Chair assembly took time and sweat. The actual 'seat' does not have predrilled holes and is a bit of a pain to screw together making sure things stay symmetrical. It's worth the pain...but hopefully the manufacturer can improve on this in the future.
Color is not shown correctly but solid chair - perfect for round table
Linda from PA– Verified Buyer
Color is most accurate to what you see on the backs of the chairs in the dining room set photo - not yellow at all, but more reddish than anything and certainly darker than the single chair images. The curve of the chair backs fit perfectly snug against a 48" round table making for a nice clean look when all pushed under the table. Assembly was a bit tedious but not too complex.
Love the chair, hate that it's a totally different color.
Wallis from Brooklyn, NY– Verified Buyer
The chair is solid and comfortable, but the color in the pictures is so off that I thought they sent the wrong item. This looks like a nice oak, but it's actually a dark reddish mahogany. Pretty disappointed, I'm not sure what to do with them now because I really like the chairs, but the finish doesn't match my table at all. :/
Emily Dining room set

I've had this beautiful Dining room set for 3-months now and I'm loving it. Best purchase I have ever made. This set is a little darker than what you see in the picture. They look much better than the picture. Very modern with a retro look. Michael Dunn at customer service was superb! He was a big help.

This is a beautiful set. However, if you plan on using it to seat 6, you will be disappointed. There is a design flaw.
Love this table!

We bought this table six months ago. We love it, it looks exactly like the picture. It is pretty easy to assemble with simple tools. It cleans really nicely with soap and sponge. We use it every day in our breakfast area where we eat most of the meals. It has a couple of small scratches by now, but they are not very visible and add character. We use it with the chairs pictured and it looks very well. A lots of compliments!
Good quality chair with OK lines.

These were the least bad of all the dining room chairs in the $100-$125 price range. Solid wood without a laminate!

I am very pleased with this dining set. It has a very simple, classic design yet very stylish. The quality was much better than expected. I was hesitant making the purchase because of the price being so low. I was afraid the quality wouldn't be there. The table and chairs assembled very easily. You will need two people to put the chairs together.
