Indifferent Cats Love It
Sandy from Iowa
Tired of my cat draping herself across my computer tower, I decided to buy a cat tree in the hopes she would move to higher ground. It arrived quickly (and free shipping --- major plus for something that weighs 65 + pounds) and was pretty easy to put together. I was surprised by its stability. For the price I was expecting it to challenge even the most nimble of cats (which mine are not) with wobbly joints and unsteady connections. To my shock, and perhaps mild disappointment, it is quite sturdy and unable to shake off even my bumbling fur beasts. Even more shocking? They love it! The power play continues as to who gets the highest perch, but it has become the go-to spot for birdie viewing, nap taking and hairball hurling. The fabric covering is very soft, perfect for a cat who considers her precious paws too dear for peasant flooring (i.e. carpet).
My two cats love it!

Great price for a solid cat condo. You won't find a better price anywhere and the shipping was fast. This thing weighs a ton, so expect to need help to get it into the house. And of course with that said, I suggest you cart the box from your front porch directly into the room in which you'll place the end product.

I have two 7 year old female Abyssinians that are very active and love high places. This was the perfect tree for them as there are two "hideaways" and several platforms enabling them to jump from one level to another easily. Also, the top three are large enough (with sides) for them to curl up on and have a "snooze" without (my) fear of them falling off.
Great Cat Tree

The ordering process was smooth, product arrived on time. The directions were simple, and the cat tree was put together very quickly. I have six cats, and there is room for all of them on this cat tree. The cats love it, so I love it. One of the dangling toys was very quickly torn off by the cats, I did not expect those to last long though, I am surprised that the other one is still attached, as we have had the cat tree for a week now. The only thing keeping me from giving this a 5 star rating, is that it seems rather cheap. We have all of the screws tightened as tight as you can without tearing up the particle board, and the tower still seems kind of wobbly. I could not find in the product description, where it was made. I went to the Pet Club website, and it is an American company. I was disappointed when the box said "made in china". That being said, my cats love it, and they are constantly in/on it. I purchased it as a "daily deal", so I am pleased with the price. I would recommend this product, for those looking for a deal, as cat trees can get very pricey. For my next cat tree though, I will do some research and find one that is "made in the USA".
Great Cat Tree for the Price

I bought this cat tree as a last ditch attempt to appease my finicky felines. It was delivered on time and then wound up sitting in a box for about three months while I made a HUGE move. Upon finally taking it out of the box it was made of a plush material and not carpeted. I have a 12 lb and 14 lb cat. This being said it can be a bit wobbly, but the base is sturdy enough to hold it. The piece was incredibly easy to put together, and the ladders swivel for ease of cleaning. The posts that hold the cubbies and platforms up need to be tightly moved into place.

I just received my tree today and I have to clarify. The smell people talk about is from the wood glue used. Only strong when you put your face right up to it, and even then it isn't as bad as most claim it to be. Also I don't know if it happened during shipping or not, but two of the corners were broken on mine. Not a deal breaker, but I still would've liked to have an unbroken product. Maybe if Go Pet Club themselves packaged a little foam on the outside of the product it would have been safer. Now on the website, it claimed to be shipped by a certain day if I order it now! Nope. Still took almost two weeks to get here. Other than those silly little gripes, the tree is fantastic! My cats wouldn't even let me finish building it before they were investigating. Yes it does have a small wobble to it, but in NO way does it seem unsafe for multiple felines to wrestle and conquer their throne! Very easy to put together, I mean easy enough that you don't need an explanation for anything. I have 6 of these screws, and one of this length, okay, pictures, okay, done. That's it. Oh, and be prepared of the hanging toys. They do come off really easy. I don't think the one lasted an hour, but going to your local dollar store, and buying a few more to staple onto the tree wherever you like is simple enough. Very pleased with this purchase!
Go Pet Club tree - Blue
Teri from Scranton, PA– Verified Buyer
Love this cat tree! So do my four cats! I chose the blue, and am very happy with it! The color is wonderful. I won't go into all the specifics as there are many great reviews that already do! This tree matches up to all of those. The instructions are basic but as I had read the reviews I was prepared for this and used the suggestions of a few of the other reviewers. It went together easily for me as a result! It came when promised, there was no damage, all was as expected. The mice are loved much by my cats and are still in place with no evidence of going anywhere soon! I have wanted one of this size and quality for a long time, but the price was always too high! When I found this one, at the price I got it for - 113.50 - I couldn't pass it up! The only draw back for me was the price dropped 9.00 a few days after I ordered it! But it is worth the price I paid, though I wouldn't mind a price match guarantee! And you can't beat free shipping! You can't go wrong with this one, it is exactly as described in all the other four and five star reviews! I highly recommend it!
Fun Cat Tree

I have had this cat tree for a couple of weeks now. I have several other trees, all purchased from local pet stores and made of carpet and wood. All of them are more sturdy than this one, although I knew that when purchasing it. It can't be as sturdy when it is made of cardboard and MDF instead of real solid wood like my others. Still, the cats like it. Not more than the other trees, but they don't seem to be bothered by the unsturdy nature of the tree once I moved it to a corner. I had it in the middle of the room at first and it nearly tipped over when they would scale the back of it. The fabric is easy to clean and cat hair comes off of it easily with just a vacuum. A big plus that I was not expecting was that they do like to claw the sisal. One of my other trees has very large diameter sisal and they don't like to scratch on it, but they go to town clawing this sisal. The houses and perches are bigger than most, which was a major factor in my choice to buy this one. The ladders are non-functional but I am leaving them on because they seem to add more stability to it. One mouse got lost right away, but the other mouse is still hanging in there. I won't be buying any more like this because I don't feel that it will ultimately last as long as the carpet and wood trees, but for the price, I feel this was worth what I got.
It Was WHOOPEE!

I couldn't get this together fast enough for my kitty. He was in the lower cubby the minute I screwed it together and turned it over. I kept working until I got finished with the upper shelf and quit for the night. I thought he would take to the lower cubby because he's a big cat. Nope, it was the upper cubby he loves. I put the remainder together over the next couple days. He loves his condo. He takes a running leap and climbs the sisal poles just as he's seen the outdoor kitties do. He doesn't sleep in the tallest nest but he does get up in it to mess with some wind chimes I have hanging. When he lays down to watch the birds it's in one of the lower nests closest to the window. This wasn't that hard to put together. Pay attention to the pictures and take each step slowly and it will not be a problem. I did try to turn the lower cubby in a different direction but that won't work so don't waste your time. Also, I only used 1 ladder as I didn't have the room to place the lowest ladder the way the picture shows. Doesn't seem to matter to my kitty. He has no problem getting up on the first platform. The hanging mice didn't even last until I could get the condo together. They are hung with a small length of elastic which my kitty chewed in half immediately. I was afraid he would swallow the elastic so I cut it off and leave the mice laying on one of the shelves. Yes, I have to pick them up but he has more toys so they all must be picked up to vacuum anyway. He has hit this thing doing 90 in a hurricane and it takes the abuse. Yes, it wiggles but he's a young, muscular fella so if it can take him it could take any kitty. It has a wide base so it won't tip easily.
Good for the price

I purchased this about 4 months ago. When I opened it, the baseboard was cracked. Currently, it has not affected the cat tree in any way. As others have mentioned, the bottom set of stairs do not get used. I have left off the top perch and pole because I have a 9lb cat and a 27lb cat (rather large), and my 27lb cat would probably not get much enjoyment had I put it on. By leaving the top perch, the top house allows more room for a bigger cat to sleep or lay (he fits somewhat comfortably enough to sleep). My fat cat had gone on to the 2 second level perches, however I don't think he would be able to had I put on the top perch. My fat cat is declawed, which leaves my 9lb cat to do all the scratching. In the last 4 months, about 4-5inches of one post on one side of the post has worn off completely, showing the actual wood/post. I'm not sure why but my cat likes to scratch that particular post so I hope he will start using the other ones soon. Overall, I am satisfied, for the price it is not bad.
