Good cat tree BUT only with modifications
Jeanette from United States – Verified Buyer
I love this cat tree, it is sturdy, looks nice, and the cats use it a lot, BUT it does have it's drawbacks. First of all, the only reason I like it now, is because it is able to be used without the ladder, upper condo and cylinder. Both of the condos are ridiculously tiny, way too small for any adult cat, so basically useless. The upper condo just takes up space that could be used for lounging, so I was very glad you could just not put it on. If I could I would have omitted the bottom one too, but of course you need that one for support. Secondly, any cat can very easily jump from the first to the second platform without using the ladder, so it is also just taking up valuable space that could be used for laying down. The great thing is, that without the upper condo, and ladder, those 2 platforms are VERY large (21 x 24) and nicely accommodate adults cats for stretching out to lay on. In my experience, that is the problem with most cat trees, is that the perches are not big enough for average to large cats. The upper most perch is very small (about 13 x 15) but when curled up in a tight ball, they can still just barely fit, only because there is the raised rim to hold them in. Thirdly, that stupid little cylinder under the first platform is minuscule and another worthless part that has no function, so also didn't put that on either. The faux fur is nice and plush and looks pretty. One nice advantage to this over carpet is that there are not tons of carpet fibers continually being pulled out by the cats making a mess all over the place. Lastly, I wish the sisle rope on the posts went all the way up to the top. Instead, it is on half of the post, with 14 on the top and bottom covered in faux fur. The cats like to stretch up to scratch at the top more than in the middle. Ultimately, I am happy with it, it is a perfect height and overall size and not wobbly, even when on the highest perch, but ONLY good WITHOUT the upper condo, ladder, and cylinder. Seems like a waste to pay for things that are unusable!
Gorgeous sturdy cat climbing furniture!
Karen L. Haws-Dearing from Sugar City, Idaho
This cat climbing treecondofurniture is beautiful, sturdy, and very functional. It is true, like some of the others have commented, that the condos are too small for a large adult cat. However, our 7 lb. calico, Jasmine, loves a challenge and can climb all the way into them and even curl up inside. Our 10 lb. Norwegian Forest Cat, Chris, cant fit all the way in, but he still enjoys poking his head in them. I can understand the concern that some others have had over the cloth coverings. It is a soft velvet-like material that might cause a problem for cats with front claws. Both of our cats have had their front paws declawed, so they just really enjoy the feel of the soft coverings and cushions. The sisal ropes on all of the supports are very sturdily wrapped and secured, and our cats absolutely love those for sharpening their non-existent claws. The instructions were picture-only but very easy to follow. There was also a complete listing of all parts included, and it was nice to have the tool needed as well. Even though the parts arent marked, you can tell which is which by paying attention to the number and placement of screw holes. All of the screws tighten into metal threads, so the whole thing was very solid when completed. Even the very top cat-shaped level with the toy hanging from it, which looks like it might be a little precarious, is also very solid. Chris can jump up there, fool around, and sleep on it without any danger of it toppling over with him. Chris and Jasmine have been enjoying lounging, climbing, playing, and roughhousing with each other on it without causing us any anxiety that it might come apart. I won this unit with an 81.00 bid on eBay with free shipping from seller petstuff28-2008. Our cats 2-year-old Kitty City was about worn out, so we were looking for a sturdier replacement that wouldnt break us financially. To us this unit is worth a whole lot more than we paid for it, so we really got a bargain! We and our sweet cats are more than pleased with it.
Go Pet Club 59 Cat Tree

We have purchased many Cat Trees from Go Pet Club over the years. Some are sold to clients that adopt our Persian - Himalayan kittens, and LOTS are used thru out our home for our own cats comfort. Easy to assemble, and faux fur is easy to maintain. Cat nip mist keeps our cats scratching and grooming on their furniture and not ours! Soooo cute with its little paw shaped feet too!! Would recommend to others!!
My kitten Marley Lynn loves it

This was very easy to put together, no banging your head. My kitten was up on it in minutes, trying her best to get to all the levels, but right now she is still tiny and needs a little help getting up and over a level. But I can see it will only be a short time before she has mastered it. She loves to stay at the top and watch all that goes on in the house and out the window. I am so glad I bought it! She is so funny on it and I'm enjoying it. I have nothing to complain about this product,I have told everyone I know about it and where I got it. Love it. O ya we did make a small modification my husband took a small piece of soft material and made a hammock to add under one level, Marley does like to hide in it.
I now get my favorite chair back!!

my cats just love this. it wasnt hard to put together either. me, being a total novice, even managed! i inadvertently switched the first two bottom pieces that looked alike. (they were not marked on the bottom with any identifying marks even though there are different drill marks if you look closely enough.) but that was a blessing in disguise. because of this, i couldnt put the ladder where it needed to be unless i took it apart and switched bottoms or drill new holes and attach ladder. it all worked well in the end. without the ladder, my cats (which are all large adult cats) have more room to lay on the second shelf. i would recommend it to all who are looking to purchase a cat tree for their furr babies and want to reclaim your favorite chair or couch!!

Gary, my cat, would want ALL the other cats out there to know that this cat tree is purrrfect! It was shipped and delivered on time, and was fairly easy to assemble. It is sturdy, soft, and looks great! Gary (10 pounds) loves being at the very top... It's like he's saying "I trump you Jax (our 65 lb. dog)!" He also really likes the NINE scratch posts that he gets to use and the (super) durable hanging rope. I looked at many different cat posts, and finally settled with this one. Gary and I are super happy with it and would recommend it to anyone... great look, great quality, great price!

This review is not bad because all was good except one damaged piece. The lower condo walls were torn on the inside which makes the unit a little weak. Hopefully the cats won't take an interest in the damage and claw their way through the fabric. All else was great, love the unit, easy assembly and exceptional free delivery. Would have been a 5 without the damage. I think the damage was caused by packing some of the round poles inside the condo without any packing or padding. I expect 2 cents worth of Bubble Cushion would solve the problem.

The Babies really love their perch, they spend hours looking out the window. Assembly took awhile but wasn't difficult.
our 3 cats love it!

It came with all the parts and is a very good quality for the money. It took 3 people to put this together but we're not all that handy with tools. I'd suggest laying it out first . Watch how the platforms go not in the same direction. We had to start over with first step because we did this step wrong . The cats love it. We have a 7 lb, 16 lb and a 13 lb. It's stable with all 3 on it at once .
This is a QUITE good cat tree

It's really easy to assemble, it only took me about 20 minutes to put them together, even more beautiful than the picture, and sturdy. The shortage is that the rooms are too small to hold my Himalaya who is eight month old now, maybe because she is a fat girl~~~~(>_<)~~~~ , but my five month old abyssinian can get in and stay in now. I worried if it's still fit her when she grow up. But I stiil love it, and hope my babies love too...
