I looked around everywhere, read every review, and decided to chance it with this Cat Tree. I saw this exact same tree priced as high as $1200 online, and about $20 higher than Amazon if you bought on eBay. Amazon was cheapest. The comments I had read that were alarming were that it was flimsy and impossible to put together. Both untrue! There are three important things to do when assembling. 1.) lay out all of the pieces as they are shown on the instructions, and then label them with a post-it note or something for each group of pieces. 2.) When assembling, make sure that you look underneath the platforms and have the bottom holes aligned properly for attaching the ladders at the end! (I have one ladder not attached because of this...wasn't taking the entire thing apart just to have a ladder to the lowest level.) 3.) As you screw the scratching posts onto the various levels, make sure you screw them as tightly as possible. By the end, if they aren't screwed in all the way, the levels could be different and seem to be flimsy or wobbly. This would definitely be human error. By doing all of the above, this 50 year old Mom with no carpentry ability at all was able to assemble in one hour and 20 minutes. Yes, I timed it. We did not have one leftover piece, it looks great, is solid, and the cat loves it!

This condo cat tree is perfect for my 4 cats. They absolutely love hiding in the caves and sleeping in the pouches!! Very easy assembly and a durable product. The only thing I had to change was to remove the two ladders leading up to 2nd and 3rd caves. I have bigger cats and they were jumping off rather than using the ladders. Plus it gives them more space to climb and they actually lay on top of the caves also. We kept the first ladder attached at the base. They can be left on or removed, whichever your preference. My cats are pleased!!
My cat LOVES it!

I recently lost both of my adult cats and wound up getting a kitten (not my first choice as I like the adults better). I forgot how active kittens are and we just couldn't keep up with her activity level. I purchased this thing and she is happy, happy, happy all the time. Watching her on this thing is like having a fish tank for me. She is complete entertainment and keeps herself busy got long periods of time. I do recommend this for cats with claws though because I also bought one for my parents cats and they don't really know what to do with it because they don't have the nails to pull themselves around or to climb up and down it. Mom says they only use the one level that even with their counter and that's kind of a pity.

This is the 3rd one I have purchased. I do have to asy I wish they made it so you could remove the hammocks to wash them. Even though you can't, it is so worth the money. My cats do sleep in the hammocks and do sleep in the houses. Hammocks fit up to a 13 lb. hairless cat, not so sure that would accomadate a 13 lb. cat w/long hair.

I bought this for our daughter who owns a problem cat who is a wild child in the house. Her cat absolutely loves his new cat tree & his behavior has improved since he now likes to just hang out on one of the many perches on this tree. The tree arrived on time and in perfect condition, and was (according to our daughter) easy to put together.
And there climbing the stairway

To heaven. The cats love this. It is very tall but does have a safety hook at the top. Our big cat loves the top spot. Every time he is on his way up that tune comes in my head because he really looks like he's climbing the stairway to heaven. Now the littler one she's happy in the little pouches that she fits into just perfectly. Okay sorry for that one. Really this is a great all inclusive spot to stop, sit, or scratch. Definitely would get it again.

I will be honest when we first took the pieces out of the box we were about to put it back in and send it back! There were so many pieces but after separating everything and reading the directions it went together super quick! Make sure to read the directions or else the holes won't match up. My cats never like anything new so it took them about two weeks to go near it but now they love it and are on it 24/7 they both have claimed out different sections for themselves. The best cat tree ever!
With Modification, a Great Cat Tree

We have 6 cats- 5 two-year olds and a 13 year old. They do love the cat tree and play with it everyday. It always seemed top-heavy though and rather shaky; I was worried that eventually it would topple over and either hurt one of our girls or break beyond repair. We went to the hardware store and purchased two thin 6 foot boards and some scrap carpet, covered the boards and attached them from the top little house to the base on the back. It stabilized it a lot and now it's a lot more sturdy. We also removed half of each ladder, using them as supports for even more stability, as they were covering most of the tops of the little houses where our girls wanted to nap. One of our 6 likes the little baskets, the rest are too wary of climbing into them. All in all though, they enjoy it and for the price- it's a good tree. Be prepared to maybe add a few things here and there though to make it safe for your cats if they are hyper like ours.

Purchased this awhile ago and my cat still uses it - (been over a year) - It is still in great shape and is still standing considering how much my cat terrorizes it. Sure saves the furniture - I have it in my bedroom - cannot say I would want it in my livingroom - Let's face it - it's a Condo for a cat! It is worth it for the cat world!

I looked at the picture when I bought this and thought that their was no way a cat could curl up on the top of the platforms that have ladders on them. Also the ladders were going under the platform they were leading too. I was correct. The ladder make the 3 platforms a waste of space. I have 4 cats and only one, who is the only female and was the runt of the litter fits in the hammock, not that she goes in it. She can fit in the caves so goes in there. I thought this would have enough space and be great because as I have said I have 4 cats. WRONG. I should have bought a smaller one and saved my money. The only thing I can say good about it is they were on time. And was as stated. Also the caves aren't solid. There is a piece of fabric with velcro that you work around the circled landing piece. My cats are all around 16 lbs, big cats. I would not recommend this to anyone who has larger cats
