Gliders

I purchased this glider (along with the matching Kyoto ottoman) for my unborn son's nursery.[...]This glider is an excellent size and the sleek design will make it fit into any nursery or room perfectly! It glides very smooth along with the ottoman. It is a tad on the firm side and I do wish it were a little more plush; however, I know over time it will soften up some. The soft cushion included with the glider makes it extra comfortable! Very happy they included that for extra back support! The fabric is very smooth and soft and easy to clean (big plus!).The only real negative comment I can say about this glider is that it does have a very strong odor when first unpacked. I didn't notice it at first until I put it in the nursery and walked in there the next day. I decided to leave the two windows open and turn on the ceiling fan each day and have done so for the last 5 days. It has definitely helped "air out" the glider and ottoman and the chemical odor has subsided. This smell is to expected though with some furniture and would not deter me from purchasing this glider and ottoman!Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and could not have found a better glider and ottoman! This glider rocks very smoothly and gently, and is very comfortable over long periods of time. The footprint it takes up is fairly small and is great for our nursery. The fabric is soft, and looks like it will hold up for a good long while. It "sits" well, as I was concerned about not trying it out for size before purchase. The seat is not too firm and supportive. I am 5'8" and my head hits right at the top of the back. It could be a bit taller, but still works lovely. My husband is 6' and if he sides down in it, he too can fall asleep with support for his head by the wings and the back. Perfect for rocking lil' bits to sleep."..."  Read more

After suffering through a hand-me-down glider with my first child, we invested in this beautiful glider for our second. She just turned one year old, and I'm happy to report that I've spent many comfotable hours in this chair. While it is a very firm chair, it is perfectly porportioned and designed for mom and baby and even dad and baby. Everything has held up nicely, and you can barely tell we've used it despite the fact that it gets daily use! My only complaint is that it is not quite wide enough to accomodate my three-year old, my one year old and me at story time, but that's okay."..."  Read more

Love the glider. It is easy to clean, looks lovely in our nursery, and is super comfortable for us and our daughter. Unfortunately we went round and round trying to actually get it with no tracking numbers, poor communication from allmodernbaby/Wayfair, and at least 6 phone calls to straighten things out. The pouf still hasn't arrived despite another round of calls and questions. One customer svc person told us we already have it. We have been charged for it but certainly don't have it. All this after ordering 2.5 months ago and no offer to compensate us for the trouble. Go elsewhere for this great product."..."  Read more
