QUICK LOWDOWN: My husband and I looked EVERYWHERE for a comfortable, practical, and affordable glider for our first child's nursery. As the headline states...THIS IS IT! I will admit I was originally hesitant to buy online since I couldn't get an actual fabric sample, or sit in it, but overall we're very pleased.PRODUCT DETAILS: Has a wonderfully high, cushy back, firm seat, and nice padded arms at just the right height, so we both rank it 5 stars in comfort. It works magically with the matching gliding ottoman too! ;) I would recommend this particular style for the removable seat cushion since it's nice to have another fully upholstered side to flip it over if necessary. This chair also swivels, which we didn't know when we bought it, but are very pleased with.[...] because the chair frame was light enough to be carried up a pretty steep staircase (by just my husband) and fit right into our smaller sized room. The actual color seems to be a few shades brighter than displayed online though. It's still a tasteful green, just not exactly the color I was expecting given the swatch shown on this site.CONS: Our only negative comment is that we expected the quality of fabric to be a few grades better. We selected the color, Camelot Pistachio which we assumed would be made from a durable twill/canvas fabric, but instead feels much lighter causing us to have concern about easily staining and quickly showing wear and tear. In fact, the back is already showing wrinkling (it arrived yesterday) when we get in and out of it, so we remedied by placing a small pillow in the lower back area to try and prevent. We may also buy the fabric protectant, but if not, it's nice to know there is the option to just slipcover the whole thing later on down the road....OVERALL: Nice job LITTLE CASTLE and Wayfair for making a cute and super comfortable chair available at an affordable price. I searched high and low for a glider for our baby's room. The backs were either too low, they weren't comfortable enough (wanted to be able to sit in it a while with our new baby) or they didn't have an appealing look. Then I found this glider and took the leap. I was very nervous about purchasing something sight unseen and untested, however things couldn't have worked out better! It came in exactly the color that was shown on the swatch, and the measurements are perfect--for both me 5'8 and my husband 6'2. It glides smoothly and quietly, and reclines far enough to get a comfortable nap in. The arms are the perfect height for nursing or just holding baby, and the best part is, it will be a beautiful addition to any other room of the house once she's older. This glider rocks very smoothly and gently, and is very comfortable over long periods of time. The footprint it takes up is fairly small and is great for our nursery. The fabric is soft, and looks like it will hold up for a good long while. It "sits" well, as I was concerned about not trying it out for size before purchase. The seat is not too firm and supportive. I am 5'8" and my head hits right at the top of the back. It could be a bit taller, but still works lovely. My husband is 6' and if he sides down in it, he too can fall asleep with support for his head by the wings and the back. Perfect for rocking lil' bits to sleep."..."  Read more

After suffering through a hand-me-down glider with my first child, we invested in this beautiful glider for our second. She just turned one year old, and I'm happy to report that I've spent many comfotable hours in this chair. While it is a very firm chair, it is perfectly porportioned and designed for mom and baby and even dad and baby. Everything has held up nicely, and you can barely tell we've used it despite the fact that it gets daily use! My only complaint is that it is not quite wide enough to accomodate my three-year old, my one year old and me at story time, but that's okay."..."  Read more
