Before the birth of our sixth grandchild I searched for quite a while looking for a glider and ottoman set for my daughter and her husband's nursery. This is their third child and know that a glider and ottoman was a "must have" in their nursery. She is a breastfeeding mom and is very pleased with this set. She is a little taller than the average woman at 5' 7" and finds the chair is plenty roomy and comfortable. Their 3 and 6 year old can also snuggle with her in the chair with plenty of room. Some reviewers have commented on the thickness of the chair pad. We found that it doesn't bottom out or become uncomfortable after rocking for a length of time. The chair is best for use in the nursery as opposed to heavy use in a living room. It is a good chair for the price range. You can spend a fortune on these glider and ottoman sets and many times get the same quality. It goes nicely with their Enchanted Forest nursery theme. This set delivers what it promises. We are happy with the purchase and quality of the set. I would purchase it again for someone else if the need arises. I would recommend it to a friend."..."  Read more

I purchased this glider (along with the matching Kyoto ottoman) for my unborn son's nursery.[...]This glider is an excellent size and the sleek design will make it fit into any nursery or room perfectly! It glides very smooth along with the ottoman. It is a tad on the firm side and I do wish it were a little more plush; however, I know over time it will soften up some. The soft cushion included with the glider makes it extra comfortable! Very happy they included that for extra back support! The fabric is very smooth and soft and easy to clean (big plus!).The only real negative comment I can say about this glider is that it does have a very strong odor when first unpacked. I didn't notice it at first until I put it in the nursery and walked in there the next day. I decided to leave the two windows open and turn on the ceiling fan each day and have done so for the last 5 days. It has definitely helped "air out" the glider and ottoman and the chemical odor has subsided. This smell is to expected though with some furniture and would not deter me from purchasing this glider and ottoman!Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and could not have found a better glider and ottoman! We had looked at the measurements of this glider for our nursery and thought it would work out well. There are a limited number of white gliders available out there and most are over $700 for the set. We are both tall (he's 6'2" and I'm 5'8") and this glider is very tight and small for us. However, the price is so good and the colors are perfect!! The cushions are stiffer so we pulled the bottom cushion out since the ties are so long and the back cushion up and my mother made a keepsake bolster pillow (this made the new Grandma happy!!) and put it in the bottom back for support. So the pillow filled the "hole" we made at the bottom back where the other two cushions would have met and now it's much cozier for us tall parents. I would definitely recommend this glider to anyone thin and small, but if you are over weight do not buy!!"..."  Read more

We bought this chair for our baby nursery. And while we have yet to find room for it in baby's room, it's getting plenty of use in our living room at the moment. I LOVE the colors. It was crazy hard to find a white glider with brown cushions, especially for a price I could afford. And it seems to be put together well, no problems as of yet. Also it was really isn't to put together. I did it at 8 months pregnant with no problems. If I could change anything, I would make the bottom cushion you sit on thicker. Also, I would make these, in this specific color (white/chocolate) more readily available. But it was worth the wait to get it and will be perfect for our nursery once it's all set up."..."  Read more
