Little guy loves his new "motorcycle" from Hillsborough, NC on 02/21/2012 – Verified Buyer
Like others have noted, my son, age 2.75 yrs was able to use this immediately. By the third time out he could go more than 1/4 mile. He has not learned to use the brake yet. He adores this bike and rides it at any opportunity. It is great that the glide bar can be rotated 90 degrees out of the way of the feet with a simple button and hole mechanism. We have not yet put the glide bar for the feet in position yet to be used. It is great that the seat is so easily adjustable so that other kids can use and then be switched back to the right height. (Feet need to be able to be flat on the ground). It is great that it is so light - very useful when you have to carry the child in one arm and the bike in another. Easy to assemble. Great that the weight capacity is 100 lb because the older brother likes to take a spin because it is irresistable. Be sure to have child wear a good helmet at all times. Downside: the quality is not very high. Kickstand only works if the front wheels are turned a certain way. Red paint job is not super read but more of a pinky red.

Love it!!!! My daughters learned to bike ride w/out training wheels quickly and safely. Pros: Strong, easy to assemble and looks good Cons: A little too small for my 5 yr old who is taller than the usual child.

Bike you kid will love! from Montreal, QC on 06/18/2012 – Verified Buyer
I bought this for my two and a half year old. She was asking for a bike and when I let her try a tricycle,a bike with support wheels and a balance bike I saw she took to the balance bike most. It is a good idea for kids who still find it hard to pedal. On this bike she quickly learned to ride rather fast, occasionally taking her feet of the ground, to keep her balance and to steer. The seat and the handle bar can be height adjusted, so the bike can be used for a few years .It is the only bike with a foot bar which rotates into on and off position.

great starter bike from CO on 04/22/2012 – Verified Buyer
We purchased this bike for our son's 3rd birthday. It was very easy to assemble, and he's loving it. The kickstand is somewhat odd, unless we can somehow adjust it and haven't figured it out. It stands the bike almost directly straight up, instead of leaning so it easily tips over. But that's totally minor. We love the bike and love how confident he is on it. He sometimes falls over on purpose b/c he thinks it's funny. That's how lightweight these bikes are (and how close to the ground the kids sit) and it doesn't seem to phase him when he falls, which is great. SO happy we chose to get this instead of a conventional bike with training wheels!

Nice Nike from Montréal on 08/29/2012 – Verified Buyer
My 4yr old has been using traditional training bike, we decided to switch because this bike really trains him the capability of balance. At beginning he was slow and careful, after 3-4trips, he is getting better and better. He loved it! My 20 month old tried 2 trips, he was able to move a bit, but he was too afraid of falling. Apparently he didn't get the idea yet. But it will come. Good investment! Thumb up
