I don’t know if a bulletin board can be “refined “ but if so, this is what it looks like. No resemblance at all to the ugly brown school corridor boards of my youth. Linen is a pale grayish beige and matt white frame matches woodwork in my condo. Have not hung yet but will take pics of locations. I bought two. One will fit (just) by my bedroom closet to use as necklace display; the other will go in sunroom where one end is my studio area. If you have white kitchen cabinets one of these would be perfect. This corkboard did come damaged in a few different areas. It is warped or bubbled in certain places around the edges. Definitely liked it a lot. Cork is easy to push pin into. Nice wooden frame. Not warped at all. The only thing is I wish they had put one more hook on a third corner. The reason is that I decided to hang it vertically instead of horizontally. That meant adding another clip to a third corner, which was a bit of a process. They could have done that easily for essentially pennies at the time of manufacturing and saved us from having to find another hook and figuring out how to put it on, or for other people, possibly saved on their returns..
