I purchased this generator for the purpose of back up electricity for my cabin, especially in the winter. With the 500 gallon propane tank I know we can survive for over a week should the need arise. Although it's only been hooked up for a few weeks, I have "played" with it and it runs perfectly each and every time. 15 seconds after I shut power off to the cabin, it fires up....each and every time.
