I purchase this gate for my 13 week old puppy to keep him confined so he will not get into anything when I am unable to watch him. This gate is great before I had a baby gate that we had to lift our leg to get over. Sometimes we would knock the gate down trying to get over it. It took the paint off the wall keep taking it down It damaged my walls. Not with this gate it is wonderful the door that opens up is so convience I had to purchase another one to block off another area. Great gate you can't go wrong."..."  Read more

We bought this gate to keep our two dogs in the hallway. Plus out of another room. The area is like a triangle with different size openings. This gate is perfect for that situation.Because both sides can easily be opened and it expands. I find for myself that I do need both hands to shut and latch it, but can open it with one. This is the only reason I gave it a four star. We have been using it for 6 months with a 55 pound and a 30 pound dog. They have never gotten out and we leave them for many hours and the gate still looks great."..."  Read more
