I bought this U.S. Traveler garment bag to replace my husband's old canvas suit bag, but the description of a "2-in-1" garment duffel bag is a little deceiving. It's NOT a bag that can double as either a tote bag where you can throw in a bunch of loose items or use it as a garment bag, it's strictly a garment bag. But instead of folding in half and zipping flat, it has flaps in the center that zip around to turn it into the shape of a duffel, making it easier to carry by the handles or the detachable shoulder strap. The shape also gives you the choice of storing it in an overhead bin or stowing it under your seat on a plane.
The "leather" is manmade, but durable and not at all cheap looking. One it's zipped up, the center has a lined compartment to fit in shoes, and it has are some convenient exterior pockets for tickets, papers, etc. As long as you know ahead of time that it can't double as a traditional tote bag but it's only for shirts, suits, etc., it's a great bag!"..."
