I had been looking for a cold frame for awhile when I came across this one. I like the size which can accommodate many seedlings or small plants. I also like the basic construction but only rated it 3 stars because it does appear rather flimsy. While assembling, the wood split and had to be glued back into place. I've placed my cold frame on a patio and not directly in the garden to prevent possible rot and to prolong the life of the cold frame. I recognize I will only get a few seasons out of this cold frame and only if I take care of it.
do the job but not strongly build, glass is not really clear

holes are not well pre-drilled, and the design is flimsy, very cheap and thin wood frame, probably some kind of fir. For the price they should use a little better materials. It does its job so far but I doubt a big gulp of wind may blow it away in winter. also the glasses, actually some plastics, are not very clear, not even to be able to look clearly inside, not enough sunlight for the plants in it.
Could have been better

A couple of the polycarbonate sheets were chunkered up. The wood parts are rather flimsy.
