This safe is larger and heavier than I expected. Planned to install in a wall, but it's too large. I poured a concrete pad in a closet and mounted it to the floor, enclosed in framing and wall board, textured to match. Looks great and plenty secure for valuables.

This safe will be used for my family personally and is being flush mounted in the wall. This is a new construction area so after taking measurements from the safe after arrival, I framed in the base and opening. I think it would have been more difficult to mount if it had not been new construction. I like the safe and it appears to be what I wanted as far as fire resistance, heaviness to withstand a forced entry, and visually appealing. I did check into other safes in the same price range and found the interiors to be padded or a shelf in some,or both, with these safes being of the same size and fire rating. I feel the plastic tray is cheap and I would have liked it better if there was a slide in shelf that could be adjusted. Other than not having a shelf, I do like this safe and the metal trim that makes it a wall safe is heavily built and looks nice also. All in all I am pleased with the safe and would recommend it to a friend.

Great price point on this safe. Difficult to install and the instructions were lacking. 50/50 on if I would buy this safe again.

[...] The safe has lots of room for storage of documents and personal items. It is very heavy and sturdy but a little difficult to install. Once it was in place it was easily covered by a picture and is attractive when uncovered. I feel confident about it's ability to protect my documents and property.

We use it several times a day

The safe appears to be of excellent quality. However, the installation procedure was very difficult. There were no pre-drill holds. The bolts that were supplied with the safe did not fit properly. The instuctions were not explicit. If it were not for the installation problems, I would rate a 5. VWillis
