This model comes ready to install on your pillar or deck and has our super-bright LED's which use a special patented cone reflector to make the light brighter. The gas-light design of our solar lamp light is classic and adds an elegant appeal to your front or back yard. Using efficient solar-powered technology, the solar lamp lights receive their energy from built-in batteries charged daily by the sun, which in turn light the 8 super-bright LED bulbs. Each solar lamp post has real beveled glass panes that add to the late 19th Century appeal. No maintenance is required with the powder-coated cast-aluminum solar lamp posts that are weather resistant & won't rust.

We bought it to reduce our energy footprint and it has by $ 11.00/month over the older electric lampost. The light is not very strong, enough to find the driveway, but that is all we needed. They were easy to install however, I had to remember to click the small switch on a day after installation. I have had them almost a year now, and they never fail to come on shortly after dusk adding exta beauty to the handsome fixtures. New England had touch weather, but so is this product. We like the fixture and the price, but since we are not so young anymore, we wish changing out the fixtures was simpler. The fixture does not fit the existing light posts for the gas fixtures. Good solar light from CT	4.0 6/7/2009 Great solar lamp~ We bought this light for our new lamp post and we wern't sure if It would give off enough light for the area we needed it (coming up the stairs of a retainer wall)But we were very satisfied with the lumination that it gave off.
