This chair is well constructed. The fabric has some texture and the color is neutral (I bought the one in tan). It is a firm chair - so if you like things so be soft and fluffy - this isn't it. But, it has multiple uses. You can use it as a chair or a chaise or as a twin size bed. The back reclines in a few different positions and with a few fluffy throw pillows, it is comfortable enough to read or watch TV. It is low to the ground, so if you struggle with getting up from lower places - look for something a bit higher up. It would have helped if it came with instructions on how to assemble. Also we didn't realize right away that there are legs that are hidden under the zipper compartment when used as a bed."
