I'm happy with this purchase. It's good as a couch for extra seating. It's almost a "black" brown color. I bought this for an office and for extra sleeping for company, however, it's not as comfy for sleeping and will really need a mattress pad of some sort to get rid of the uncomfortable middle crease when it's laying flat. I had been looking for awhile at futons. My son was coming home on leave and I needed a full-sized bed for him. I ordered this one and it came 2 days later. I upgraded the mattress to a foam medium-firm serta. He is 5'9". I put it together myself(no tools required) and he absolutely loved it. It is very comfortable for sitting and sleeping. It has a very modern look to it and it is very slimline. I am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend this to anyone. I was impressed by how quickly we received it. I have purchased ISTIKBAL Best Versay Convertible Sofa with storage (in Ruby red) with intention to use it as a sleeper. Sofa looks great and decorative in the room. Storage is not deep but serves the purposes of keeping bedding, plus wool mattress topper. Very easy to use, I have been using it for about a month. The couch came in 95 assembled condition. Feet and metal sidings were very easy to install with the tools conveniently attached to the package. The sofa is full sized and is very comfortable for one person to sleep on.The mattress is firm, which is good for my injured hip. I use a woolen topper which adds warmth and comfort to my restful sleep. We purchased this for dual purposes: guest bed and sofa for "dog room." We purchased a non-fabric covered sofa in order ensure that wet dog scents would not make their way into the sofa.
