I have a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old and they sit and play with the cars and build castles on the buildings. They have had tons of fun with this rug. I even get on the floor and race the cars around the streets. It is fun and just better than driving their cars on the regular floor. I did receive this rug for free in exchange for my review. Satisfied from KCMO	4.0 1/17/2011 Fun, but repetitive My 3-year-old son and my 23-month-old daughter both play with their cars on this rug, though my son likes it and appreciates it more, due to his age and his love for cars. The only thing I wish I had noticed before is that the rug pattern repeats itself about halfway up. Not very creative if you can't design a rug that has a unique pattern across the whole of it. Especially for the cost. Still, for young children it isn't a big deal. I do like the fact that it's light-weight yet durable, has a grippy rubber backing and when you unroll it there is no significant wave or warp to the rug from being rolled up - it's quick and easy to roll up and put away so it's not out all the time. We're relatively happy with the purchase, and we think this rug will last a long time, especially if it doesn't get a lot of foot traffic. Was this helpful? Yes / No
