I found this pan to be very useful, the smooth cooking service is perfect for frying bacon. I have 3 small complaints. Firstly, the pan is a wee too small. The square design I thought would hold at least 8 strips of bacon, it holds 6. Secondly, the pan is not heavy enough, this creates a bit of a balancing act as the handle is to long and too heavy to allow the pan to stay level. Thirdly, the lip of the pan is too low and I am concerned that the grease will come over the top and cause a grease fire, as I have a gas stove[...]"..."  Read more

This is one of my favorite pans to use, especially now that the temperature has dropped substantially. I can still grill chickensteakburgers, even though its winter. I will say that this isnt the easiest pan to use. Im still learning the best way to cook with it and clean it, but Ive had fun experimenting with different techniques. I read some discerning reviews about this pan that food stuck to it like glue. However, after some research I learned that this pan should never be used on high heat and that this was what caused the food to stick. So i bought it and tried it out. Surprisingly, allowing the pan to heat up on med-low heat for a few minutes is enough to get it searing hot! Ive used this pan a dozen times so far and been VERY happy."..."  Read more

I used this grill pan to grill chicken, pineapple and a pressed panini. It make nice charred grill marks on the food and heated the food evenly. Since it's hand wash only, I didn't have any problems getting the grime off the bottom of the pan. My only issue is that it's square and I have a ceramic flat cooktop with round burners.
