I am a HUGE fan of Nordic Ware products. They truly are superior to others I have tried. They are a "Green" company & I highly encourage all to look into the process how they elimanate the use of poisonous chemicals from their coating, unlike other companies with nonstick. You can't go wrong with Nordic Ware and their items will last such a long time even with daily use.
Our son loves to make pancakes but I hate having to clean up after him. I bought this for him so he could have his very own pancake pan to cook with. These are the perfect size for everyone and has encouraged him to clean up after cooking. The pan only needs a wipe down to remove any crumbs on the edges. Nothing more.The pancakes slide right off the pan onto the plate. NOTHING sticks to this pan and despite my thoughts of uneven cooking, every pancake circle cooked even & perfect. I even gave him a wood spatula to use with it for preventing scratches.

Bought this to replace our worn out nonstick. I was a little concerned about sticking food, and cleaning. After a little practice, I have mastered the pan. No stick even with eggs. Cooking with stainless has made me a better cook. My family has been really impressed with my cooking, saying that everything has more flavor. I wish I could take credit, but it all goes to the pans. I purchased this pan for use on a portable induction cook top and it works well with it. The pan is manufactured extremely well and is solid and has some weight to it. I like the handle design as it never gets hot from sitting on the burner. This is NOT a non-stick type of pan, so things will stick to it if you don't coat the pan prior to cooking with it. I jumped on this a while back. I wanted a large pan (i have 8": and 11" from berndes as well) because when you cook a family dinner, u rather have it all done in one pan instead of 2-3 pans.This is a true frying pan, it's very wide, shallow (less than 2 inches deep), therefore it cooks/frys on the surface instead residual heat as other narrower/deeper pans would do.Last night, we had 3 pounds of shrimp in this pan in scampi sauce. all fit in 1 layer, and 12 minutes later we had a gourmet dinner. linguini and shrimp scampi.The pan has been used for omelettes, caramelizing onions for frech onion soup, grilling burgers (dont add soil, 4 min per side, they are awesome), cooking breakfast sausages, and frying fish fillets in floor. all were winners!It's very well made. the non-stick surface has several layers, so other brands that sell u non-stick for [$], have 1 layer, and not cast. so, the heat will not be even and it will start pilling off after few month!i highly recomend this :)"..."
