Frigidaire 50-pint Dehumidifier - FAD504DUD

I bought this unit because it was the highest rated in Consumer Reports, and it definitely lives up to that high rating. Easy to use and maintain. Performs well in my basement. I like the timer on/off function. If I don't want to hear the unit running when I am in the basement, I can just set the timer to turn the dehumidifier back on later, so I don't have to remember to turn it back on manually.

Pros: Does the job well and fast Cons: When they say quiet... In the basement would be just great but we use it upstaires. We just move it around and put it where we are not.

Wonderful energy star product. Very quiet and accurate. Really works great and arrived very quickly and in wonderful condition. Great price for a great product.

Love this dehumidifier! Our hot water heater broke flooding our basement. The Frigidaire Dehumidifier pulled all that excess humidity out and you could see the dampness in the concrete disappear. The bucket is easy to empty and the very visible red float ball shows the water level. We're very pleased with the quiet operating noise level. Could not be more pleased!

This has been a Godsend to me as we have been having so much rain that the house feels damp to me. I put this in my living room and what a difference. Since it is so easy to move; I am now going to give it a try in the basement. If it works half as well down there, I am going to be a very happy lady.
