If you like using a french press, you'll love this one. It is well constructed, easy to clean, and with double walled insulation coffee will stay not much longer than in a glass french press.
Excellent Quality, Great Press

Highly recommend this stainless press. It is well made, easy to clean and does a great job. The canister and top are both double walled, providing good insulation. My coffee is still plenty warm after an hour. I chose this model because it does not have any plastic parts that may leach chemicals into my coffee, and it will not shatter, as the glass presses are prone to. Great buy!
Brushed Stainless French Press.

Nice item. No plastic to worry about. Clean and cool looking. Keeps coffee warm for a long time.
Sturdy Stainless Steel Press

Well built. The brushed look might be more scratch-resistant than the polished one. That's why I bought this. No need to handle it "carefully" like the glass presses. The reason for reducing 1-star is that when the plunger unit is pressed down, when the coffee pot is empty, it makes a "scratching" noise against the sides of the wall. At first, I thought it was a defect. I called Frieling customer care and they said it should not be that bothersome but asked me to let them know if it continues even when "full". It is quite bearable for now. And the plunger pressing mechanism is quite tight (that explains the noise). And be sure you only have it half to 3/4 full. Otherwise, you might end up with hot geyser of coffee. I just wish there was little to no noise and the plunger pressing operation is quite smooth. Otherwise, it does what is supposed to do perfectly.
High end, high design, well made

I love the look and design of this coffee press. Every aspect from the spout to the handle, to the recess on the lid shows the influence of the designer. It has a very well done brushed finish that makes a presence on your table. It can hold a substantial amount of coffee (36 oz.) and feels solid and well made. The handle is comfortable and well designed. I purchased tow of these presses for entertaining, one in a brushed finish and one in a highly polished finish, one for de caf and one for hi test coffee. I also have the creamer and sugar to complete the set.

The quality of this french press is outstanding. We were able to make about 4 cups of coffee with the largest size. The best thing about this french press is that it keeps the coffee warm for several hours and can also use as a pitcher to keep drinks cold. Overall, a great purchase and well worth the price.
Replaced electric coffee maker
Melissa from east berlin, PA– Verified Buyer
I really like this press. I got rid of my electric maker because I never used it anymore. I also rarely use my old glass French press. My only complaints would be that it is pricey (although it is well made) and that it only makes coffee enough for 2-4 (but I rarely make coffee for more than myself). I have had this now for around a year and it has held up well.

It was a Christmas Gift

My daughter in law said that she liked it a lot and is making coffee two times a day. She had never tried any other brands so she stated she has nothing to compare it to. I was surprised that in the box it had no packing around it so it rattled but nothing broke. I was pleased with the quickness of delivery especially since it was a gift.
Love that it is double walled
David from Oregon– Verified Buyer
I use it every morning. The only problem is it is hard to push the press down. I don't know if it is a design fault. I eventually get it down, but it really does take a long time to get down. I love French pressed coffee. I will give it 5 for durability and a 4 for functionality. I like that it is double walled and keeps the coffee hot.
