I bought it as a present to my sister who makes the best pies, she loved it, but did not try it yet. I thought that the handles were not 100 centered, but we will find out soon how it works.

I got this to match a dark marble cutting/pastry board that I bought on this site. It matches perfectly. It is very heavy, and I wish the wooden handles were a little more heavy duty. The weight of it is not a curse though. As a matter of fact, I think what I love about this the most is the weight of it. I often had to push down as I rolled out dough with a rolling pin. Not so much with this one. This rolling pin is so heavy duty, it does most of the pressing for me. I absolutely love it.

I used this to make some sugar cookies. Put it in the fridge first to make the pin cold. It works great. Its heavy enough to help reduce the amount of work you need to do but not too heavy to hold. I love the base it comes with and the color of the pin. It washes up really nice and easy too. can't believe I can get such a great pin for such a great price. and my boys love the cookies it makes too! :)
