Fox Run Craftsmen 20" Marble Pastry Board

Got this for my mom because she already has one, but wanted another for a different counter in the kitchen. Arrived in a timely fashion, and was packed perfectly so nothing was broken! So happy!

This marble pastry board is a perfect addition to my kitchen. It is functional and great looking on the counter top.

The marble board is great - very sturdy and easy to clean. I have a smallish kitchen and it's the perfect size. Pizza, pastry, pastas all work. My only complaint is how it was packaged. The box was too big so it slid around inside the box and the box was severely damages by the time it got to me. The courier also couldn't find my address even though 2 other items I ordered at the time as the board arrived without a problem. Like I said in the subject line, would have been 5 stars had the packaging and shipping worked out.

I love this product for pastry dough---recommended by Julia Child herself! It is exactly as described, and came in a timely manner. I think the packaging around the corners is weak though to protect the brittle corners---needs reinforced.

I really like the look and its very functional, but stains VERY easily. Tea dripped on it and there is now a ring where the cup was left.

I waited to review this product until after I actually used it. I used it to roll out cookie dough and it worked beautifully. The dough did not stick and it is heavy enough to not wobble around while rolling out dough. It is VERY heavy, so it will have to stay out on top of the counter. It is a bit clumsy to wash due to its size and weight. The only down-side is that it is too large and heavy to be able to use for chilling inside the refrigerator. Perhaps I will purchase a smaller marble board for that. Very happy with purchase!

Great product. Nice marble pattern. Well finished. Can be used for general all-around countertop protection or for baking. We use it for both.
