Doing a great job so far!

We bought this to overwinter some tender tropicals in New Orleans. We didn't want to keep dragging the plants in and out of the garage and jimmyrigging lights and sheets over them like we have done in years past. Set up took the two of us just under an hour and we were pleased the once it got together it seemed to be quite stable and sturdy even though made out of plastic. The plastic did not feel cheap or flimsy. We put a small plastic shelving unit in it for small pots and are using the rest of the space for larger pots. We ran a small heater inside it and have turned it on during the nights where it got cold enough to damage tender tropicals. We also set up a remote thermometer that reads temp and humidity inside the greenhouse. It is amazing how warm this gets when the sun is out. We have it set up on a concrete patio and are using 2 small concrete blocks wrapped in Bubble Cushion to secure it. We were afraid if we used the blocks alone in a wind event the concrete might rub against the plastic and puncture it. We have had wind gusts up to 35 mph and it has not budged. All the plants in it look quite happy in it so far! We put some pots of cold hardy plants around it and it looks pretty attractive. It is serving the exact purpose we bought it for and hoping we won't have to replace so many potted plants this spring.

Living in Corvallis Oregon, I need a greenhouse to protect plants during the below freezing months from November to April, and to keep hot summer season plants like tomatoes ready and warm until the real hot months in July and August. I have bought greenhouses from this distributor but never the CLEAR one before. I wanted a better look in my garden for summer parties. This fits the bill nicely! It does require a 'bit' more cleanup because the clear plastic can get foggy and dirty but a little garden soap and it cleans up well. I wish the window in the back could be opened/closed from the inside, it is a pain to have to go around the back to adjust the opening, better still would be for it to have a second doorway. In the winter I cover the entire thing with a second layer of plastic as insulation and put a small heater in it keeping temps at approx 40 deg. I do like this model and have been pleased with it.

Bought two they are very sturdy so easy to set up but the one on my deck only survived one winter it blew apart second winter. My other in the basement is perfect for tomatoes out of season.. Still would recommend..Just not in bad wind
great little greenhouse!

I planted seeds of various vegetables into a planter inside my house. Seattle had an unusually long and cold winter and spring, so when my greenhouse arrived, I got a friend to help me put it up. Once we figured out the way to set it up, it went very fast (the instructions are too scant; you need to use your intuition and keep visualizing the finished product!). After only 1 day in the greenhouse, all of the seeds (which had been dormant inside my house) popped up, and I now have a planter full of small plants 2 weeks later (the end of Apr), which will be ready to plant outdoors in another 2 weeks or so! It is amazing, though I need to bring the planter indoors at night until we stay above 50 degrees here. [...] They are meant to fit exactly into the structure, which is much better than looking around for shelves that maximize the space.

This greenhouse is sturdy. I have used it for 3 years and it still works well except the shade screen is starting to tear with wear.

Just the right size in FL for winter protection of orchids.

Pretty good so far!

I was pleasantly surprised by how much space it provided. It stays warm and humid when it's cool outside. Sometimes I don't even need to water, because my plants stay moist. It's been sturdy so far.

This was not my first Springhouse Greenhouse. The first one I bought over five years ago was fairly sturdy considering it's components. The quality of the Greenhouse constructions has gone down a bit in comparison. It still does the trick, but it could be a little better. ie the zipper door was not made as well, the polyethylene tore if the support was too tight.
