This sleek, trim yet amble weight flatware is my second set which I have added to my first set thereby yielding a full set of 8 placesettings. I purchased my first set of 4 placesettings as a trial to see if it would meet my expectation of being easy to hold by elder hands that are riddled with arthritis and, therefore, much less smoothly operative than normal hands. Expectation met! Additionally, my Norse swims through the dishwasher totally unscathed. It is well balanced, wider than the average and not too heavy or too light. Its beauty speaks for itself. Daily use, informal ware, formal ware I searched the entire collection of Wayfair tableware and fell in love with this set because it looked versatile (everyday and special occasion) and the design was unique and distinguished. One previous review said that his knives rusted in the dishwasher and had to be washed by hand. I called Wayfair and they in turn called the mfgr. who said that all pieces are dishwasher safe and this customer must have received defective knives which he should call Wayfair about and they said they would replace them for him. We are casual at most of our meals & entertaining and have colored casual dinnerware. We were ready to replace our previous flatware and were looking for something that would stand up to a lot of use-indoor, outdoor, etc. The quality of the flatware is about what I expected. We like the shorter handles and fork tines, and the shape & feel of the spoons (some flatware spoons feel too thick to me). The knives are kind of cool because of the round tip shape, but they are very useful for cutting bread-meat-anything. The weight is adequate. I was surprised, however, that the handles are too thick to fit in my dishwasher's individual silverware slots. Minor issue."..."  Read more
