We purchased two place settings of this pattern to "audition" as possible flatware for our lake home. We were concerned that it might (1) be too kiddie-like; (2) be unbalanced and difficult to use; or (3) the fish lips on the spoons might prove to bite. We were overjoyed after just using it for dinner and the following morning for breakfast. It is absolutely beautifully made, very well balanced, not as heavy as our GS handmade flatware that we use at home daily, but by no means a light-weight. And it in no way, shape or form resembles kiddie flatware. After using it for two meals we promptly placed an additional order to complete the set, along with hostess set and dessert spoons. It's elegantly made. You can tell when you hold it that it's well-made, high quality flatware. I can't look at it without smiling, and I love things that make people smile. I'm looking forward to using it in our new lake home."..."  Read more

I recently purchased the 3 and 4 piece hostess sets for a bridal gift.I had already purchased a few place settings for the couple as well. Most of the flatware today is of very inferior quality metal. This set shows that the old methods of manufacturing are still being used. Attractive product, quality, weight, and dishwasher safe make this stainless a must to have and gives sterling flatware a run for its' money."..."  Read more

This flatware isnt flat. I love the rounded handles. The pieces in this pattern are longer than our old flatware which is nice for those with bigger hands. Ive only had this flatware for a few weeks, but Im very happy with it so far. The only thing that Im unhappy with is that this pattern is described on this website as 1810 stainless. Upon receiving it, though, we found that it is actually 180 stainless. Im hopeful that it will not tarnish with continued use."..."  Read more

I am using this flatware for everyday. I have teenagers and the spoons and forks always seem to go missing, so I didn't select expensive. I replaced a higher quality flatware set that had very few spoons and forks left. For the price, this is a good selection. The feel, weight, and look are nice. What I don't like about this pattern is the larger size. I knew this before purchase, and was okay with it. Another negative is that it's made in China. However, I recognize that's why the price is so low. I purchased both the eight and four place setting options."..."  Read more
