Overall Good choice for price!

I'm a 66 low-income senior lady and am having extreme nerve pain from cervical and lumbar disk issues. Needed something to sit on that could also elevate legs without having to use a recliner pushed all the way back. Also needed to watch my price limit. After reading the reviews on all the chairs like this up to $400, I chose this particular one for the following reasons: 1. No head pillow or bump out...these never hit me correctly (I'm 5'5"). 2. Liked the interior dimensions as I'm of medium weight/width and can just snuggle my 10 lb dog next to me instead of on top of me. 3. Liked idea of some heat since leather (faux to real) always is cold in winter and feels sticky to me. 4. Already have a shiatsu massage unit for back so liked idea of vibration levels. 5. Needed a compact chair for small apt. with small ottoman that could elevate legs independently. 6. Wanted to swivel so I could watch TV or turn easily to watch on-line from desktop computer screen; also to swivel other way to visit people sitting on loveseat and side chair. Cons: 1. Heat isn't separate from vibration so can't just heat the chair. Also, pretty minimal heat. 2. A bit noisy which I've become accustomed to now just don't know if my neighbor can hear it or feel it. I can definitely feel the vibration in my bedroom. Chair in next room. (Afraid to ask neighbor.) 3. Because this has to hold vibration equipment, the seat is not as well cushioned as equally priced non massaging recliners or possibly higher cost massage recliners. When my lumbar is especially painful, I need to add extra cushioning which then offsets the vibration. 4. Be careful about getting out of chair because the cord connecting to ottoman can trip you up on one side. But swivel makes it easy to do once you remember! 5. Would like the ottoman to have a slight adjustment...either be able to lower one-two notch levels or slightly tilt foot end down a little if wanted to (it's completely level). PROS: 1. on sale pricing (got mine for $165) at Wayfair vs other websites with this product always was best. 2. arrived quicker than expected; friend assembled it...little bit confusing about attaching the arms but quick after that.. 3. Have been using it every day and finding it more to my liking...especially early in morning when very stiff. Even when I must add some extra cushioning for my tailbone/low back, the rest of the massage helps to get the blood flowing to rest of areas.

This was one of the best purchases I ever made. I was designing a spare room as an office space for my husband. It was a huge design project as a surprise for his birthday. He has a back injury and I wanted an area in the room where he could relax while reading. I also wanted it to have a modern and classy look, but be comfortable and therapeutic. It looked fantastic. He loved the chair. But I knew I had hit perfection when I found him sound asleep, headphones in his ears, comforter wrapped around him, leaning all the way back, and snoring while the chair massaged his back. He usually never takes naps and cannot get comfortable due to his back. Now he regularly finds time on the weekends to disappear into his office for a nap and a massage. The price was outstanding and the results priceless.
Just got it, but so far love it!

Just FYI, 60+ year old with bad neck. Yet, I had no problem moving the box nor removing the parts from it. Although the instructions could be a bit more detailed, had no problem putting it together. Took about 45 minutes ('cause I put a couple screws in the wrong place)! 5'11" and 215#, and the chair fits just great. 1) There is only a very faint smell (saw other comments). And I might not have notice it if I hadn't read the other review :) 2) The vibration and heat are just great. Remember, we only paid about $180 for the chair, not $2000 like others you'll see. And I didn't realize you also get the vibes in the ottoman! 3) The back is really straight up and down (compared to some you see which have large neck pillows built in. For myself, that is a plus, cannot have my neck "propped up". 4) I agree it would be nice if the chair would "stop" in intermediate positions. 5) The material looks great, even though it isn't real leather. VERY pleased with this purchase. Overall, very pleased
Heated massage chair
Ellen Flynn from Columbus, OH
My FF heated massage arrived in less than 3 days...Impressive! Once I had everything unpacked & laid out, it took me approx 30 min to put together and I'm a fit & handy 53 yr. old female. All parts arrived in very good condition except for 1 of the arm rests as it has a pretty deep crease on the top front from the way it was packed. Hoping it will fill back out on its own. The chair has very good heat & vibration massage. With 5 levels of intensity & 9 different massage modes, I'm very happy. I'm not always the most fond of massage chairs that knead too deep & cause pain. I bought this chair to use in my salon, but will now buy one for home since I didn't want to get out of this one once I tried it. Super relaxing!
Best Chair EVER!

I got this chair for my husband for Father's Day. He absolutly loves it! In fact the whole family enjoys it. It is made with high quality bonded leather, it reclines, and best of all.....MASSAGE! It even goes through to the ottoman! I love that it has a control with several different massage options. Plus you can control the heat! Also there is pockets on both sides of the chair to hold the control and other things as well.I would absolutly recommend it! You can't beat this price anywhere!
Very nice chair

I was afraid this was going to look too "officey" as I wanted it for a reading chair for our den, but it's not. Very comfy, easy to move. Good quality material and not difficult to put together. I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again. Perfect for a small space where you want to be able to move it easily from one spot to the next.

The 'Leather Heated Reclining Massage Chair with Ottoman' was an incredible find. The massage action works great, and the heat function is a big plus too. It works well for arthritis sufferers like me. I've had a number of compliments on how good it looks. My neighbor agreed, and bought one also. Thanks Wayfair, for the superb deal!

It's hard to try to judge the quality of an item looking online. But Iwas not expecting much for the price, and was pleasantly surprised. First the item arrived as promised and relatively easy to put together, although it may be a task for others not mechenically inclined. You have to jockey the hole in the seat back to line up and attach to the seat bottom a bit. With the armpads remember the pockets go on the outside LOL. The vibration portion of chair is weak, but the heating portion is rather cool, but is not adjustable. My only really bad comment is that both chair and ottoman were held in their bases by gravity, no set scews.

This is a great chair. The quality is really nice and it is just as it's pictured and described. Both the chair and the ottoman are nice and sturdy and everything works just as it should. I do question whether the leather is genuine, but it's nice and is holding up well.

It's a great chair, really wonderful. The only real critique is that's it's made to continuously recline, there's no way to lock reclining, so you'll be typing or something and have a little mini heart attack. Set up was pretty simple as well, the only difficulty there was that the instructions didn't include where to put which chords. Overall, it's awesome. Working out great. Just wish it had wheels.
