Flambeau Barn Style Post Mounted Mailbox

Extremely pleased with purchase, it was exactly as described in write up. Relatively easy to install, maybe if the roof could be removed, it would have been easier to get a drill inside to make it secure .Did not want to force the roof off, as the instructions did not say. But very pleased with the results.

Very excited to find this mailbox to match our new property. Wayfair had the best price online. Only complaint my husband had was that the specified board size to mount it on was not a standard size one might have handy.

Solid, is a good size, looks fine and works well! Suggestion: they should include the hardware necessary to mount it.

Someone backed into my barn mailbox so I had to find a good replacement. The packing was not great - should be heavier as the mailbox door was sprung.

The friction latch on the door will probablly break soon. I am looking to replace it with a magnetic catch.

I've had three of this mailbox at two different homes and lost the last one to vandals. I bought the red barn to stand out from the neighbors but it also makes a great landmark for directions to finding my house. It's big enough for most small mail order packages (DVDs, Books) and for a couple extra days of mail. My only reservation is that the last one faded a bit, I really hadn't noticed until I set it's shattered bones next to the new one. Installation was made easier because it's made of plastic instead of metal. I"ve mounted it three different ways, none more difficult than the other with the right tools.

Easy to assemble and bigger than a standared mail box. Looks great in a rural setting. It won't dent or rust.

Seems to be well made, no problems with latch, BUT, it was delivered with a distortion that makes the door close with difficulty. I am working on putting an opposite twist on the mailbox to correct the problem.
