I purchased this file cabinet to replace another lateral file cabinet. This one has smaller drawers, so I am unable to place letter-size files side by side -- less room for my letter-size files. However, the cabinet is much sturdier, and I like the caster under the bottom drawer for stability. The previous file cabinet had the runners already installed, so it was a bit of a challenge figuring out how to install the runners on the sides of the drawers -- instructions could have more clear or the drawer sides could have been labeled "right" and "left"."..." Filing cabinet was delivered easily and quickly, no damage. Very nice piece of furniture, sturdy. However, there were screws missing and I had to wait to have them shipped to put it together. Then I realized the 4 drawer sides were all right sides and there were no left sides. So now I am waiting for them to be delivered.
The item was delivered quickly, but the missing parts are really holding things up.
But still a very nice filing cabinet especially for the price. Slightly darker than the picture, but nice color and grain. A little tricky to put together, but I'm the kind of person who likes doing this kind of thing so it was OK for me."..." Read more

Good price for a solid serviceable mobile file. Fairly easily assembled with good instructions and parts list. A few things were confusing and required extra study to clarify. The three drawer arrangement is convenient for organizing office items and adding a legal sized hanging file for my filing system. I made an alteration to the file drawer by notching out the base and using the notch to add a fifth caster under the front of the drawer to prevent tipping of the cabinet when the drawer is opened while full. At the same time I used larger casters in place of those provided in the kit for easier mobility on carpet."..." Read more
