My fiancÃ© and I have been looking for a better solution for our important paperwork than the plastic file boxes we've been using, but we didn't want the ugly industrial metal filing cabinets. We wanted a quality piece of furniture that we could display in our home. I did a bit of Googling and found this one, which perfectly meets our needs. A couple online retailers offer this same file cabinet, but Wayfairs had the best price. It turned out to be a lot more sturdy and well made than I expected for the money, and the lock is a major plus. The bottom file drawer is plenty big enough to hold my and my fiancÃ©'s letter sized files, while the upper drawer will be used for storing basic office-type supplies like pens, pencils, stapler, etc. On top of that, when we leave or have company over, we can stash our valuables in the top drawer and lock it for security. It comes with two keys so we can both have one. The espresso finish is great, matches the rest of our furniture very well, and the only assembly I had to do was screwing in the drawer handles and placing the hanging file supports in the drawers. My sole complaint is that the drawers provide a bit more resistance than I think they should, but they'll either get better with time or I'll figure out how to grease the slides. Regardless, I'm willing to overlook that one tiny drawback in light of all the great things it has going for it. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase."..." Read more
