Overall this is a great product and I use it in my home office. The top is large enough to be used as a table for a midsized printer or fax machine, the open space under the glass is convenient, and both drawers provide ample space. The caster wheels lock firmly and seem to provide more than enough support to roll even over carpet.
The only downside to this product is that is it expensive (but you get what you pay for as the construction is mostly solid wood), could use a third drawer, and the drawer bottoms are thin particle board or plywood and could be improved.
One word of caution with this product and the Ballard glass top desk from Eurostyle: You need to be careful not to put too much directional pressure on the glass as it can shift position over time and end up being a major hassle to continuously readjust. With the desk I suggest you add additional rubber bumpers easily purchased from the local department store. You do not have this option with the file cabinet."..." Read more
