Filing Cabinets

This filing cabinet is very versatile (for a filing cabinet...) and arrived just as described. The shelf supports were a tad difficult to get aligned, but I arm-wrestled them into place eventually. The two bottom drawers had several holes for multiple sized hanging files, which I really liked. I had been looking for a 3-drawer, mobile file cabinet for my home-office. But I already had bad experiences with poorly-made file-cabinets. This Alera model is anything but flimsy. It has a heavily-weighted base that peevents the cabinet from tipping forward if a loaded drawer is fully extended. The draw-slides operate smoothly, and I like the full-width pulls that are integrated into the fronts of each drawer. The cabinet arrived securely packed and undamaged. Was looking for file cabinet which was about 20 inches deep with good sliding/opening mechanisms. This fits the bill! You do not have to use the casters if you don't want them. Most file cabinets are around 26 inches deep. Anti-tip mechanism was a bonus."..."  Read more
