Product Details

The Stratford Daybed adds a flare of contemporary style to an otherwise traditional Louis Philippe design. The camelback-shaped rear panel and curved arms signify the Louis Philippe style, while the widened stance of the post bottoms add a more modern, Asian flair, bringing the design to the brink of contemporary. The lines are simple, clean and sensuous; a series of curves formed into a daybed.

Note: Some Fashion Bed Group Day Beds use link springs instead of box springs to support their mattresses. This allows for enough storage space for a trundle on many models. The trundle comes with a pop-up unit to bring it to the same height as the main mattress, creating a comfortable bed for multiple guests. Many of our day beds come with the link spring included, and if you decide to get the optional trundle, it will also have the link spring it requires. "Hello Cindy. The flat part the mattress sits on is 15 1/2 to 16 inches from the floor. You would add to that the thickness of the mattress you are using to arrive at a final height."

It's nice wood, which we were impressed with. Very solid design. You won't be disappointed with this product. Looks like its picture! If we need another daybed we know where to come! Service Review Delivery was prompt. However, the fact that they dropped the boxes next to the scaffolding like they were garbage was quite disheartening. Luckily, the Customer Service Rep warned us about the manner of delivery and we were prepared with extra hands to help. Hopefully, you all will find better delivery companies in the near future to at least bring the boxes into the building and leave in the lobby. Would still buy another daybed from JustDaybs, anyway!
