FBG Murray Platform Bed in Mahogany - B5108X

All went as "smooth as silk" with this purchase, from ordering to delivery to assembly (which I did alone within a couple hours). I LOVE my bed, especially its finish. No regrets.

I am very happy with the FGB Platform bed I purchased last month. It was easy to assemble, nice quality wood, lightweight and easy to move. The slats screw into the wood frame so they will not move around and are strong so they won't bend and all fall in, like a previous bed I owned did. I would highly recommend this bed. It looks really nice too and I am glad to have solid wood!

The bed is nice but it is lower than it appears, so you'll need two mattresses to comfortably sit on it. The side boards arrived badly damaged and chipped because of inadequate packing - the box containing them had no foam insulation, just thin plastic sheeting that was thorn. Such packing is totally unacceptable.

This bed was easy to assemble, came in quickly, and is true to color. The only thing is I wish it was a little higher because storage boxes will not fit under it. Overall, it's a great bed.

Product as described. The side rails are 1 piece solid wood while the head and foot rails are well constructed pressed pieces from same type of lumber (the latter concerned me somewhat after reading an earlier review mentioning this, but they did a really nice job joining the pieces together). Slats are made from poplar while mid support made of plywood. There are four adjustable feet on the support itself to keep slats level and in good contact with the floor. From general construction overall to the Mahogany finish, this bed is beautiful. We purchased the queen size and after Googling for a coupon code, we were able to save an additional 10% off the list price. After searching online and in stores, comparing price vs. craftsmanship, this bed was the common ground between the two. Really worth every cent. Next time we shop online for our bedroom decor we will continue our business with bedroomfurniture.com.

We ordered the bed on a Sunday night and received it the following Tuesday. Yes, that's right, two days from start to finish. Bed came in two packages that were both in good shape when they arrived. No dings, dents or scratches.

The bed was delivered within a few days of ordering and is absolutely gorgeous! I wasnt sure what to expect, but the wood is really pretty and the set up was much easier than I expected. The design is super classy and low profile---overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase!

I bought your bed for the simplicity in style -- It was not in the wood finish I wanted -- I had it refinished to a washed oak and added feet to raise the under clearance to the 7" I wanted -- It cost me more to re-design the bed than I paid you for it, but different strokes for different folks -- I'm happy -- wb --

We bought the King-sized bed. The frame is made of an edgebanded plywood - it isnt particle board and it isnt solid wood plank. It looks very nice. The slats are a light pine type wood. So is the support beam that runs down the middle. Assembly was very easy. There are only 4 outside pieces, the slats and a support rail. It is a low profile bed. It sits about 11 off the ground. We bought the Gold Bond 8 mattress and it fits into it perfectly on the sides, and about 12 inch gap top and bottom. The bed is sturdy and doesnt creak.
