great for small apartment
Laura from Newtown, PA– Verified Buyer
This bed is great for a small apartment. It was simple enough to put together. It's quality for what it is although I'm fairly certain it's not real wood. I scoured the ends of the internet before making this purchase. I gave this four stars because it's the perfect bed for what I needed at a great price. I wasn't overly shocked with some insanely high quality piece of furniture, but it looks nice put together. One other thing I have yet to determine is how sturdy it would be with 2 people in it, as right now it's just me and I'm small. Some other companies carry the same one. I think I paid $180 for this. Amazon was selling it for around $300 which definitely would have been overpaying. Please note this bed is low to the ground and good luck with bed risers because the legs are not square. They are rectangular, I think 6 12 by 1 12, but don't quote me on that measurement. I know that home depot or lowes can cut wood into the bed risers for you, but that was too much effort for me. I bought a pillow top cover for my mattress and with the comforter on it looks a little taller. The short height makes it great for a small apartment because it makes the space look bigger, but it's not ideal for storage unless you have those vacuum seal bags or really short plastic storage bins. I would buy this bed again, and I'm really picky. Hope that helps!

I researched many bed frames before choosing this one. And I'm glad I picked this Murray platform bed. The quality is excellent. I love the clean, minimalist design. Very classy and always stylish. Also, I don't like using box springs and those metal frames that hold the box spring. I think those are ugly (sorry). With this bed frame you simply put your mattress on top of the wooden slats (comes with the frame) and you're done. Setup was easy enough that I did it by myself, but I really recommend that you get 1 person to help you and it'll make setup a breeze. If you're debating on which bed frame to get, I'd strongly suggest this one. I love the look and quality of it.
Great bed for a great price.

This bedframe is a warm chestnut color, and the fact that it is wood rather than laminate makes a real difference. It was pretty easy to put together, although I did have a helper and we used a drill rather than the provided wrench to get the last few screws in to save time. It's a good, solid bed at one of the lowest prices I've found anywhere for a new frame, especially one with slats. I would probably recommend a bedskirt as well, because at least with my mattress, there's an inch or so of gapping around the edges where the mattress is slightly smaller than the frame. All in all, a fabulous deal!
Great for the price

I bought the twin bed for my toddler to transition from her crib. I selected this because it's a great height for her to be able to easily get in and out of her bed on her own, it's low, it's low profile which is great for her room as it doesn't dominate (older house with smaller rooms), it's real wood, and it's something that can stay with her for a good number of years. The mahogany color is nice and it was super easy to assemble assembled it by myself in about 30 minutes. A side rail did arrive pretty damaged, but wayfair took care of sending a replacement and their customer service was very responsive and helpful. I had purchased at a certain price but then a week later it was at a fairly lower price. Wayfair nicely credited the difference (14 day price matching on their own prices). Would purchase again if I had to do it all over again. Overall, pleased with the product and the purchasing experience with wayfair.
Beautiful, Well Constructed, Worth My Money
Scott from Dupo, IL– Verified Buyer
Product as described. The side rails are 1 piece solid wood while the head and foot rails are well constructed pressed pieces from same type of lumber (the latter concerned me somewhat after reading an earlier review mentioning this, but they did a really nice job joining the pieces together). Slats are made from poplar while mid support made of plywood. There are four adjustable feet on the support itself to keep slats level and in good contact with the floor. From general construction overall to the Mahogany finish, this bed is beautiful. We purchased the queen size and after Googling for a coupon code, we were able to save an additional 10% off the list price.

I'm really satisfied with my purchase. I put together 95% of it all by myself, my 17 year old nephew came through in the clutch and helped me out with the rest. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. I have a double pillow top, full size mattress that fits perfectly. It comes with a lot more slats than I was expecting, so the bed sits very securely. Also, the bed doesn't make any noise at all, which is what annoyed me the most about the bed I replaced. The only thing that disappointed me is that the side table that is pictured with the bed is no longer available. The bed sits pretty low, so it may be difficult to find a nightstand that isn't awkwardly much taller than the bed. Nevertheless, it's a keeper!
The perfect, easy to set up bed!
Michael from Seattle, WA– Verified Buyer
I have been so picky about what bed to get and this was a choice I'm glad I made! Everything arrived perfectly safe. I had a couple friends help set it up just because but it could be done by just one person if need be. I love the height, it makes my room feel bigger and is perfectly sturdy! I've enjoyed some great sleep on this new frame, everything about it looks great. The packages aren't too heavy when they arrive - do note that it comes in two boxes! I aimed to send them both to a local pickup facility and only sent the heavier one but all worked out. The price is right as well! If you're in need of a new bed frame and this might be your style/speed, look no further!
good, mostly easy assembly
dave from washington, NC– Verified Buyer
Considering the price this is a decent looking, sturdy bed. Assembly instructions say 2 people are needed but I did it on my own without much headache. The only exception being that the screw holes in the slats were hard to match to all of the holes in the frame. I ended up doing the ends and middle, and skipping a couple of sets in between since it seemed so sturdy anyways.
comfy and sturdy
Hannah from Parkville, MD– Verified Buyer
So far this bed is comfy and sturdy. It took 2 people just under an hour to put together. Part of the issue there was that I cut the plastic ties around the slats before placing them in the frame. I didn't realize they were strung together. There is no spare hardware so make sure you keep all your hardware in a safe place while you're assembling. I gave this 4 stars because the frame is a little too long for a queen mattress. I wish it fit a little closer to give more clearance around the bed. Two large people are sleeping in this bed and it feels very solid.
