Great for the price The bed took about 45 minutes to put together. It feels sturdy and looks very nice, especially for the price. There was one faulty screw which looked like it came out of whatever machine it was made in bad and slipped through quality control, but it was still (somewhat) usable. The bed also came in two separate packages which arrived a week apart, which was slightly annoying, but all in all everything turned out good. |

Good bed, good value I had been looking for a simple and inexpensive platform bed frame for a while. I purchased a pretty printed headboard elsewhere and needed something basic to hold the mattress and not compete with (or detract from) the look of the headboard. This piece is good, though not great. But given its relatively low price, I am not at all dissatisfied. There are lots of wooden slats to support the mattress. You don't NEED a boxspring with this frame, but it's probably not a bad idea to have a low profile one anyway, to protect the integrity of your mattress. I don't know that this frame would survive a bunch of kids jumping on it, but for normal use, it seems quite sturdy. |
